Here is my progress os helping Yunie with her pose... pretty much got the whole couple pose thing figured out (hah!) just a few minor adjustments and after I download the new and improved s4studio the jaw should be a cakewalk..right?

Yes...the jaw won't require any editing in the Warehouse now since the default blank just has all that editing in it automatically now.

So I downloaded the updated version of sugar and I re-imported my poses into the .package and went ingame to still find her jaw was not opened...?

Sweetsorrowsims, the new version has an updated default empty .package that has the set-up required to make the jaw work. The .package you made with a previous version does not have the set up required to make the jaw work. To get this working you need to create a new .package with 2.6.0.4 and import your poses into it.

yunanesca, I wrote a tutorial going over all the components for Studio's pose pack feature and it is posted HERE Everyone interested in learning to make a pose pack should take a look at that before getting started because knowing what the layout of the feature is before beginning will save you time stumbling around guessing. What I mean is that .packages made using the newer version of Studio have the data needed to make the jaw function properly in the game. Packages made with older versions do not...those .packages required a person who wanted to use the jaw to do some editing of the clip in the Warehouse before the jaw would work in the game. Any pose.package made prior to 2.6.0.4 lacks the correct data for the jaw by default. You cannot open that .package in the new Studio and have the jaw work without editing the clip(s) in the Warehouse. Instead you need to make a new .package and import your poses into the new .package. The new .package does not contain an additional rig. It contains a clip set up that includes IK targeting on the jaw among other small edits.

orangemittens I did create a new .package althought it was an override of the hug but it was new and it was throught the new studio. Then I copied and pasted my poses into the new into the new .blends and then imported them into the new .package and still no mouth movement. Sorry for being a nuisance. Ill check out the thread. Are you saying I need to use the clip pack option?

sweetsorrowsims, if you create an override your pose has the .package set up of whatever it is you cloned as an override. If that clip had jaw motion yours will be able to have jaw motion but if it doesn't have jaw motion you will need to edit it in the Warehouse to set it up so the jaw will work. If you use the clip pack option instead then you will have access to a default blank clip that has everything in the Warehouse set up so the jaw will work already.

I was going so hard at trying to get it to work I needed to step away for a minute so my brain could process haha.

You're welcome and I completely understand that feeling having had that happen myself on many occasions. It's sometimes difficult to explain things well and, reading my post above, I feel like what I said wasn't very clear. Please don't feel like you're being a nuisance and then I can stop beating myself up for not explaining things well the first time :P
