I want to make a tuning mod to stop my Sims from autonomously napping in the hot tub. Which code do I change?

I would look at the super affordances n="_super_affordances">
<T>13084<!--bathtub_TakeBath--></T>
<T>13328<!--debug_Reset--></T>
<T>13326<!--debug_ObjectDestroy--></T>
<T>103888<!--cheat_set_as_head--></T>
<T>13071<!--bathtub_Clean--></T>
<T>13983<!--sim-stand--></T>
<T>99087<!--object_ReplaceBrokenObject--></T>
<T>13087<!--bathtub_TakeBubbleBath--></T>
<T>154400<!--bathtub_TakeBubbleBath_apartmentNeighbor_flirty--></T>
<T>73839<!--object_Knack_FixIt_Bathtub--></T>
<T>73863<!--object_Knack_MakeAwesome_Bathtub--></T>
<T>13427<!--generic_Bath--></T>
<T>13319<!--debug_BreakObject--></T>
<T>40062<!--object_Bane_Sabotage_Bathtub--></T>
<T>13327<!--debug_RepairObject--></T>
<T>13073<!--bathtub_Nap--></T>
<T>13142<!--Cheat_MakeDirty--></T>

To make just one bath without this I would delete that line and then test it with the bath napper. To make a mod that does all the baths I think you have to have to make sure all the bath tuning files are changed and in one package with a unique tuning name and number and made as an override. I have only ever seen elders nap in the bath, but maybe sims with different traits can as well. Coolspear had a mod that allowed napping all the time for everyone.

Thanks, but I was asking about hot tubs, not bathtubs. I have seen a couple of Sims autonomously sleeping in the bath, though.

I'm... honestly a little confused about how the information above wouldn't be enough to extrapolate to a hot tub, even as a beginner, if you were already at a level where you would have been able to use it to edit a bath tub. What tutorial are you following, and where are you actually running into trouble? I like this one, which specifically talks about removing parts of the super affordances. (I used it as a total beginner who'd never seen a tuning before and barely knew how to use S4S, to do something that wasn't editing a toilet, without trying the toilet mod first, so I can confirm it's newbie-friendly.)

Ahhhh, ok, that's a completely different method than freeasabird was talking about.
Are you having trouble finding the Nap interaction for hot tubs, finding the allow_autonomous line in the tuning, or something else?

The “allow autonomous” line for the interaction doesn’t seem to be there. I copied the whole thing into TextEdit and searched for it, but I couldn’t find it.

That would suggest that you can't use that method to eliminate autonomy from that interaction, then. You could still use the method freeasabird suggested, though, and the tutorial I linked will you get started on it. (Or you may be able to use the MCCC autonomy scanner to do it. It's a feature that allows you to "catch" Sims doing things autonomously and tell the game not to let them do it anymore, without needing to find or make specific no autonomy mods.)
Just to be sure, though, which specific tuning were you looking in?
