I have a fairly large folder of CC that I would like to share but honestly have no idea of how to go about it. I have an account on TSR and share things through there, but I realize that there's a ton of people that don't use TSR and would like to have my own spot. I do have a tumblr site....had it a whole week now woo hoo. But, linking seems clunky. I have NO idea whatsoever how to link my items other than doing Dropbox which I hate because people have to have a Dropbox account to get it. I read another post that discussed tumblr and someone said its not a good spot to house your cc. So I am open to any and all ideas. I am getting the hang of tumblr and since I don't have thousands of bits of CC to share, I think it would be OK to start out there, if I could figure a better way to share my downloads. I am computer competent but not super internet savvy beyond the basics of searching stuff and borrowing music .

You could look into creating your own Blog, that's what a lot of use here do. As for dropbox only being for ones that have an account I think the workaround is changing the .package?dl=0 to .package?dl=1 HERE is where to share your CC on this site. Can't wait to see your CC.

Dropbox works fine - "dl=0" is so Anyone with the Link can Download, keep it like that. There may be a screen that comes up asking if you have an account, it's not mandatory to have one - the download will start without an account. With Tumblr, it's easy - You just post a Pic of your CC, add the Description and paste the Link at the bottom, under your Description. #Hashtags for whatever - "Sims4cc", ect. Done deal.
You can also post your CC here in the Forums.
Rock On!

If you change the dl=0 to dl=1 the popup window won't show it will just start the download.

Thanks for the replies! I think im going to work on making a blog outside of Tumblr but will put some CC up there and will definitely share some here also. Still really new with editing meshes, I get really frustrated when it comes to uv mapping, but I love doing recolors and have gotten comfortable doing small changes to the meshes like size and slight differences in shape. Hope to get better....have so many ideas. One day

I always use dl=1 and have never had a problem doing things this way. This gives a direct link to the download instead of causing people to get that annoying pop up asking if you want to start a drop box account. Either way will safely share your content whether the downloader has a dropbox account or not. Changing the 0 to a 1 at the end of your link just makes it easier for the downloader to get the content. selarono, I hope you will feel welcome to post your downloads here in the CC section that D4S linked to. You can post the dropbox link here directly or link to your Tumblr page if you prefer.

Just going by what I read in a Post - Months ago where the "0" was mentioned being better than a "1". I don't know why, maybe it's a Traffic thing - or, was? Forget anything I post, it's all gibberish. - Rock On! (Sit in my Corner.)
