So I was working on fixing MadHox's Wall Microwaves, but he used his own tuning and I am still a newbie. So I started the package from scratch and was able to solve the "this item cannot be used on ground issue" that I posted about here, but now I am running into an issue where my sim can't use the microwave anywhere but counter even though it is adjusted to the wall, but somehow it can still sit in the counter slot. If you read the thread about my previous issue you will see that I have changed catalog definition boxes such as slotting and slotting behavior so I know it isn't that. Like I said I am still new so I would SERIOUSLY appreciate any help!

In my testing, I have found the main issue is that Sims can't use the microwave unless it's on a surface. Using the cheat bb.moveobjects reveals if you levitate a microwave above one click, the Sims don't use it. So, I successfully adjusted the tuning (as you did) and SlotDecoSize so it could be slotted and used on any surface. I then adjusted the footprint of the faux fireplace so it can intersect with objects. I also adjusted it's slots so they ran up and down the wall. It works just fine when on an open wall, but if you intersect it with a counter (or any other object) the routing error comes back. So, unless someone can crack how to make Sims use levitating (preferable) or intersecting objects, I don't know what can be done. (Theoretically I think you COULD also create slots for EVERY countertop to use the back wall. Which would be insane!) I also did my fair share of cross referencing other tunings and testing the _constraints. But, obviously nothing came of it. I wonder if anything in footprints could be adjusted for the desired effect?

Can you drop your .package here and a link to the old mod you're trying to re-create?

I think I FINALLY cracked it! (Mind you, it will take two different objects.) In Object Catalog check EdgeAgainstWall and the game allows you to use the object even if it is intersecting with a counter. (Don't check AdjustHeightOnWall since it breaks routing if you put it above or below the original placement) Since the original wall microwave's tuning is a little outdated, and the on/off states don't work since S4S didn't have the capability to edit them at the time, I took it upon myself to make a full blown edit of each microwave from scratch by adjusting their tuning, footprints, etc and in Blender raised, elongated, and offset them so they went against the wall. After all is nearly said and done I went back to my original idea about the shelves, and tested weather EdgeAgainstWall would work with them. It does! So, what's needed is to create an invisible shelf with various slots running up and down the wall. I have some self documentation on how it can be done so it will be both selectable and invisible, so hopefully it won't take me too long. Plus, I gotta reset all the models (Thank God I DIDN'T assign their offset in Blender. I'll just have to reset them all to 0!)
