Hello, all. It's been just over a year since I've released anything in this series. Truth be told, I intended to upload this not too long after the tenor saxophone a year ago. However, the mesh I found needed a lot of TLC so I put it off forever, until I finally took another look and figured out what was going wrong. So here we are!
(Misc Update: I unfortunately don't know of any decent free models for the remaining instruments I'd love to do: English horn, bass clarinet, baritone saxophone, contrabassoon, and euphonium (there are others, as well). So unless I become a master 3D modeler myself (or if someone uploads a free model to use) this will be it for a while again.
Someday I'd like to go back and improve upon what's already been done. The brass textures don't match each other, the scaling of each instrument could surely be improved, and certainly the brass instruments should all have both brass and silver textures.)
Anyway, onto details: This is more low-poly than the other instrument conversions.

Hello, all. It's been several months. I had Christmas CC planned and in the works but never got around to it. My apologies.
Today I bring a new decorative instrument, the psaltery! I'd love to start a series of historical instruments, but sadly I'd have to model them myself and while I have worked on a couple (ancient Greek aulos and shawm) I haven't felt too great about how they've come along. We'll see.
This is still fairly high poly, but nothing like my other instrument conversions save for the tuba.
Description: The psaltery is considered the precursor to the harpsichord, a keyboard instrument which was popular until the 19th century, when it was replaced by the piano. Needless to say, the psaltery is a very significant instrument!

So due to the belief (by some) in Greek mythology that she invented wind instruments, I am quite a fan of Euterpe, and she is in fact my favorite deity. Needless to say, I've been looking to get a model of her in the game for a long time. In fact, doing so was what spurred me to look into conversions to begin with.
This one, I hope, is a slight improvement over my previous sculpture uploads. Most certainly still not on TheJim07's level, but yeah. I may redo this one if I get a lot better. lol
Warning: High Poly
Description:A sculpture of Euterpe, the ancient Greek muse of music. Some believed she was the inventor of wind instruments, such as the aulos. Her symbol is the aulos, although she is depicted with a flute here.

(6/14/2022: Version 1.01 - Pose is updated so sim now properly supports holding up the oboe. Oboe object is updated to have spec map so the the keys are reflective)
[I got out my oboe and modeled from my own hand position to do this edit. I hope that makes it a bit more accurate. =) )
(Oboe object is high poly just like the original one I posted. You can see more details in the link to the original, which the details should be similar.) Hello, long time no see. I got a full-time job very shortly after my last upload and have taken the last several months to get adjusted to that. Yeah, I’m weird like that. Sorry. >.< So, this is something completely different. I know people don’t follow me for poses, but when I brought these instruments into the game, I always wanted to make poses for them as well! Or at least the ones I play - bassoon and oboe. I plan on gradually making a set of these, but thought I’d post my very first one alone if anyone was interested. My self-sim is the model! =D Also, while I’m an oboist myself and know where every finger goes, understand I’m brand new to posing and thus this isn’t perfect. Needs Pose Player to work. Use the Teleport Any Sim mod further down the page from where you find the pose maker to help with placing this pose. Happy December, all! I’m pleased to bring a holiday object! Something I’ve been wanting in The Sims games since the very beginning! This is a garland that you can put on columns and other similar objects. =) I hope to bring more soon! High Poly (4K)

Happy Holidays, you all!
High Poly (18K - but understand it is a larger in radius object than I have released before, and those tend to have higher poly anyway)
REQUIRES SEASONS AND EA'S FREE HOLIDAY PACK
Ever notice the lack of a good holiday tree for the park, town square, mall, etc.? We have so many holiday trees appropriate for a home, with the rug underneath and presents, but none more appropriate for the public or outdoors. I am very happy to provide one for those purposes!
Truth be told, this one I have had on the backburner for a couple of years now. I wanted so badly to release it much sooner than this, but was having issues in the way I was going about making it.
