Here's what I did:
- Object > Create 3D Mesh
- Meshes > Export Mesh
- Resize exported mesh in Blender
- Import Mesh of resized model
- Adjust footprint to fit mesh
- Created new cutout for doorway and imported.
- Cutout Info Table > left Cutout Tile Width untouched, as the door would still span 3 columns.
- Changed Minimum Wall Height from 4 to 3 to allow door to work with short walls.
In game I am able to place the door just fine and everything works as intended. Sims are able to pass through with no issues, animations work, etc. If I place the door, then add stairs, the stairs remove the door. If I place the stairs and then try to place the door, I get the "I get the "objects cannot intersect with stairs" error.
Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi jaydub, Easy-peasy. Simply clone a door (from any pack) that is similar to the door that you created, export the Footprint resource from the clone, and then Import the exported footprint into your door package, replacing the one that is currently giving you issues. In my experience, footprints are really just a collection of numbers (dimensions), and do not reference anything important from any given object's data. Cheers. p.s. - No shade on this amazing program that we are able to use to enhance our lives, but I am not a fan of the Adjust footprint tool (button), having had issues with having used it myself.
