Hi luluthecutesim, In my experience, rarity is 'presented' in a few different manners, depending on the item and when it was coded. If I may inquire, which items are you looking at changing? Cheers.

I was trying to make some Realm of Magic rare brooms. I did a recolor for the rare Zoomer Broom, but in-game it appeared as common. Just when I override the Zoomer, my recolors are rare. Still in the sim's inventory the thumbnail is not changed. Thank you.

Hi luluthecutesim, I have taken a look at the tuning for the broom(s) (there is only one for all of them), and as well the tuning for the booth in the magic realm that sells them. The 'rarity' is coded within the tuning for the broom, but is set to 'Common' by default. I see no place within a clone of that broom that would determine the broom's rarity on an individual basis. TBH, I haven't payed very much attention to the rarity of being able to purchase certain magic items since I incorporated them into my 'Collectibles' mod, which I started to use exclusively to purchase all of my magic needs. (mainly because I get all of the items available to purchase with it, and am not dependent upon the booth having any particular item stocked at the time or not...) So, I am sorry but I am at a loss as to how you should proceed, or even if it is worthwhile to try. (not knowing if the 'rarity' for brooms is even used in the game for any reason at all...). Regarding the thumbnail, you *may* get a better result if you were to remove the ThumbnailGeometryState entry data within the Object Definition in Warehouse. YRMV... Cheers.

Thank you Minimonster for your reply! I will check the Geometry you are talking about. I guess I will use it as an override in order to be „rare” (which - for me, a newbie - is strange to appear that way if the default is „common”) and hope your advice on the thumbnail will work. P.S: as a quick reply for ``not knowing if the 'rarity' for brooms is even used in the game for any reason at all...``, I love to see that my CC broom is ``rare`` when I hover my mouse over it :D
