Hi all.
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with recoloring mermaid tails or if anyone has come across a tutorial for them specifically?
I'm not sure if I'm going through all of the steps necessary to do what I have in mind...
I have looked at a tutorial or two and was able to get a png from someone else's recolored tail exported into photoshop but I'm wondering if I'm missing something in the process.
Also, I couldn't seem to find a way to pull the original game tails into S4S... I'm definitely missing something there.
Thanks in advance

Hi. Go to CAS - Create 3D mesh - type " Tail_EP" in the search bar - select it, press ok, name the package - export the diffuse map
If you do not see them even after typing the name, make sure your version of s4s is not outdated and the game path is configured to the right place

Thanks for the information. I knew that I was missing something...
Edit: I've imported the texture into Photoshop and have been playing around with color adjustments and color adjustment layers but it's not really giving me the results that I'm looking for.
I've looked for a tutorial specifically on mermaid tails and I'e got nothing but tutorials for clothes and such. I know that they're similar ideas but it's not really helping all that much.
If anyone has more experience with fine tuning in photoshop and could point me in a direction on how to get a specific color palette instead of arbitrarily playing with sliders and hoping for the best or if anyone has seen the elusive tutorial on mermaid tail recoloring I would really appreciate the info.
Thanks again.
