I'm wondering if any modding tools can run in Linux?
I know it seems odd, since TS4 technically only runs on Windows or Mac ... but it actually runs quite well in Wine and I've been playing it on my Linux computer for a while now.
Problem is, I can't get any of the modding tools to run, and there's at least a few things I'd like to fix and a few I'd like to make :/
I'd be willing to take a stab at something open-source, too, as long as it's basically up-to-date with the game.
Edit: I do now see that I was looking at the wrong github repo for s4pe ... I thought it was still being maintained/updated and that it wasn't deprecated.

I don't mean to necropost (didn't see a rule specifically for this) and I don't mean to reply to a nearly 2 year old post but I thought that my input should be listed here for any fellow Linux users who come by this post like me. Modding tools like Sims 4 Studio can run on Linux, to a point. I've gotten Sims 4 Studio working very similar to using it on Windows. I'm able to create a package file like normal. Unfortunately, if I were to try and open a package file, that's where the program stops working. So if a fellow Linux user has found this post and possesses the right experience, maybe attempt to fix this? Would be amazing for our small community of linux gamers/modders. imgur.com/cG9E2tG
