Hi!
I've created poses before with blender and wanted to venture off into modding. I've been taking a lot of notes and been having a hard time with following a lot of the tutorials because I do not know any of the terminology when it comes to sims 4 modding. Therefore, I do not know what to look for and I am overall overwhelmed.
For example, I am trying to add a selective option to any existant computer so sims can research something that gives them a moodlet. Would that be considered tunning? Would that be the right terminology to helping me learn how to do that?
What about creating custom goal event similar to having a wedding or going on a date? What terminology would that be called in the list of tutorials that would help me achieve in modding something similar?!
Anything would be appreciated and helpful! Maybe I've overlooked something, but any guidance you can give me to make my notes make sense would be appreciated!!

The computer example you give is tuning, yes. You could create a default replacement of the tuning which would apply to all computers that already use it, or you could create new tuning which would only be used by the computers you tell to use it. If you want all existing computers to use it then then I would recommend using Scumbumbo's XML Injector as that will allow you to make a new interaction that won't conflict with other computer mods. scumbumbomods.com/#/xml-injector/To create custom social events you would possibly be better off looking at zerbu's Mod Constructor. zerbu.tumblr.com/post/181782526135/the-sims-4-mod-constructor-v4If you do choose to go ahead and use either of those other programs I will just let you know that you will be unable to ask for assistance about using them here as this forum only supports S4Studio and general CC issues.
