I want to turn a dining table into a Card table, I'm not sure if i should be posting this here or in Mod requests, My problem is i'm not sure how to go about it, I think it would involve changing the tuning but i'm not certain and I'm not sure if i should follow the basic tuning tutorial or the bed and comfort tutorial since they act similar. when i was reading threw the basic tuning tutorial i got confused, and help would be great, I'm trying to learn but its a long process. Thanks a bunch for any help you offer.

I'm confused. Are you trying to make a game table where you can play cards, or are you trying to make a folding table to eat at? Or something else? We have card table CC and card tables in the game, so that's another part of my confusion.

I recolored the Spooky dinning table with a table cloth and i want to turn that into the card game table, so sims will play cards on it but im not sure how to go about it since im new to moding.

Oh, if you're not doing anything else other than making it function like a regular card table, that's easy enough. If you want to change how it works, you run into problems. So, I'd recommend taking your newly recolored table and importing the textures, mesh, etc. into a cloned card table. And...honestly that might be it? Because importing into the card table, if it's roughly the same size, should be all that you theoretically need to do as then the rig is already there, along with the tuning, etc.

Okay so I copied the textures from the dining table to the card table, and i copied the mesh over as well. It renders in studio fine, in the game it looks fine in the catalog, but when i place the table in world it still has the original card table mesh (square instead of round) and the texture looks weird on the original mesh. Do you know how to fix this problem? I'm not sure how to fix it. Thanks a bunch for the help!

Did you import your mesh into every single LOD? Make sure to do that, as well as the shadow LODs.
