Hi! I'm Marie and I'm new here ^^. My question is if I can change the base mesh from Sims 4 Studio to a complete new mesh, and how to do it. I have a World of Warcraft model mesh and I was wondering if I can see how the TS4 cloth work on it. Just to explain, my model is a pandaren (a werewolf but instead of a wolf, its a panda) and she is fat.
Thanks! ^^

Hi. As I understand you would want to replace the whole body to see how pre-made clothing would look like on your custom body? If so, then it's impossible. Each item of clothing has its own mesh (body + clothing). What you can do is either a). convert your custom body to TS4 (just look up how to convert any CAS item to TS4 on youtube), separate whatever outfit you want and adjust it to your custom body; b). create a custom preset with TS4 MorphMaker. You can adjust the shape of the default body to resemble that of your custom body and use this preset in CAS

And in short, I want my WoW model with Sims cloths in .obj so I can render in blender or other 3D program ^^.
And sorry for ask more but how do I change the default body in CAS? Or how do I search? Because I just find that its possible but no one says how xD

Basically what morph maker does is allows you to create a custom body preset that can be found here You can find both tutorials and download files of this program on modthesims. There are also video tutorials on youtube

In The Sims 4 clothing is not worn on top of the body, it comes with the body. To change the body, you need to edit each outfit individually by exporting the mesh, importing your body in the scene, rigging it, creating uv_0 and uv_1 map, vertex painting, deleting all body parts of the the original body's meshgroup ( in this case hands and neck ) and all parts of your body that are covered by fabric, adjusting the outfit to fit the new body, saving, and importing back in s4s.
Long story short, you can replace the body only for individual outfits by putting a lot of effort into it
