I’m working on my first mesh edit for the Sims 4! I use a MAC, S4S, Photoshop, and Blender 2.78! I'm working on a jacket recolor/mesh edit, I decided what my final edits are (I recolored *Then edited the mesh)! The problem is that I have a hole in the bottom of my jacket. I filled the hole in blender, but I cant figure out how to make it so that I can Recolor the fill I made (in photoshop the old texture wont work to recolor the added fill, since I made changes to the mesh). I’m doing something wrong, but can’t figure out what IT is! Should I have filled the hole to begin with? Or am I supposed to clone a ‘bare’ clothing item in game and merge the two? Any Help/Links are greatly appreciated! I'm attaching images for reference, I kept the file with the hole and the file that has the hole filled. With Hole: With Fill:P.S. The Jacket is for Heath Burns from Monster High, I will be sharing once it's finished. I'll also be making alternative versions for the other Mansters.

Did you export your uv? Remember to resize it before exporting it or it will be 1024x1024. I found that makes it easier to recolour edits. No expert but that is how I recolour my meshes. Some times you still have to make adjustments in photoshop. The grid makes it easier. With the uv. I make a second layer of the uv and line burn it. Merge layers. To make the grid darker. Good luck on this project
