We can add a smaller painting and ones in different shapes too In the meantime, if you're interested in giving it a shot, I wrote a tutorial on how to resize a Studio Recolorables painting. The process is not too time-consuming and if you run into questions I'm happy to help. The tutorial is here: sims4studio.com/thread/1514/resize-painting-absolute-beginners?page=1 I plan to post a tutorial on changing the shape of the painting too but it isn't done yet.

I a the opposite and I want larger recolorable meshes. I need to do some landscape pictures. Frameless like the large 3-grid square mesh you have in S4S but I would like it to be 4x2. Does anyone have any tips on where I can get it or how I can make it for myself? (I will check that beginners tutorial, orangemittens)

I did it! I made a landscape proportioned Mesh! It still fits perfectly on a 3-grid footprint and is 2:1 aspect ratio. I can copy & paste a 1024x512 image over the exported dds file that I have from the blank S4S Painting template (which is 512x512). I then ignore that the image appears to be half missing the left and right sides of the copied image. I then export as a dds image. Then import it back into the texture I am wanting to fill and there it is. Complete! See picture on Flickr:

You could have saved yourself some time if you looked at the tutorial index. We have a tutorial going over how to change the proportions (shape) of a painting. It is HERE. Oh!...and I forgot to say the paintings came out very nicely.

Hi five5cats, I was hoping to download the zip of your painting meshes but the link unfortunetly brings me back to this thread. Will you please try linking the zip file again? Thanks!

Thanks so much for the link five5cats. Have been thinking about doing some more paintings lately and this will be a big help. Also thanks to midnightsky for the ask about different sizes almost 2 years ago and for orangemittens linking to two different tutorials. You see if you hadn't posted a comment a few days ago I wouldn't have thought to look for something like this, but since you bumped it, it caught my eye and curiosity. Your paintings at the link provided in the earlier post are just wonderful. Need to go on a downloading spree now. Thank you!
