u'll need to post your files--images of your issue, your package file, and/or your .blend file. No one will give you specific advice if you don't. Partly because no one will know what you've done and what you haven't done, but it sounds to me like you don't have your cut numbers done correctly. Here's what you do: Open the swimsuit in Blender and delete everything--body, rig, bottom of the swimsuit, the body parts. All of it, until you are left with this: Export this as an obj file, then you can follow this tutorial: sims4studio.com/thread/7044/finish-marvelous-designer-clothing-tutorialThe only difference between this tutorial and what you're trying to do is that the tutorial starts with a mesh made in Marvelous Designer, while you are beginning with a mesh that someone else made and that you just isolated as an individual mesh. That's it. And speaking of the fact that this is someone else's mesh, don't share this with the simming community without permission from the original creator. If you're just making this for yourself, that's one thing, but if you are looking to share, get permission first. Pro tip and I think mauvemorn for this: When separating the top mesh from the body, select a few faces on the body and on the bottom of the swimsuit, choose select, then linked, or type ctrl + L and all the linked faces will automatically be selected, though you will have to select faces on the back, arms, legs, and so on in order to select the entire body. Then you can just type X and delete faces.

I'm sorry, missfortune0215, it was the middle of the night when I wrote the above, and I was half asleep. The swimsuit already has the uv_0, the uv_1, done. You likely need to re-assign the joints, since originally the custom content was using a full body mesh for the joints and will have joints a top doesn't use or need. I'm not sure about the weight paint but I think you won't need to redo that. The texture is already done, as well. If you save the swimsuit top as an obj, some of the things mentioned above will be lost, I believe. In this case, it's best to save it as a .blend if you need to. In other words, if you feel you need to delete all the body parts and just isolate the top by itself, like I explained in my earlier post, save it as a .blend and not an obj. You'll need to clone a top, one that has one mesh group. This one will do: You could even use the nude top, I would think. You just need the EA body parts (the arms, neck, torso, etc.) combined with the custom content swimsuit top, and you need to make sure you give your new mesh--the EA body parts combined with the custom content swimsuit top--the same cut number as the top you cloned. In this case, since it's only one mesh group, you need just one cut number, and this is it: It does, however, appear that the vertex paint will need to be done. When I checked it in Blender, I got this result :D (rofl) I can try to help you further, but I've only made one item of clothing for the Sims 4 so I have to think about things before I do anything and I don't automatically know what to do the way others here do. I mean, I know what to do but sometimes things don't occur to me right off the bat. Does that make sense? And anyone reading this, please chime in if you have better advice!
