Hello!
So I've been working on adding the scales you can add to your mermaids in Island Living to their tails and I'm having troubles with the speculars. I'm getting a seam in CAS even when there isn't a seam in Photoshop after I merged them together by cutting out the overlapping pixels. I guess this isn't enough? Is there a better way to do this? I'm still pretty much a novice, but I'm not scared of taking on things I don't yet know how to do so long as I can find a good guide. But Google has been entirely unhelpful. I've been finding answers on forums that are over 10 years old and most talk about using programs I've never heard of.
Would anyone be willing to help me figure out how to merge these together or create a new specular from one of the diffuse textures?

Can you upload your files? Or provide a screenshot of your problem. That might help.

I can provide screenshots, but it doesn't look like I can attach them? Should I upload them somewhere and then link them?

Yes, you should use some other hosting service like imgur for your pictures. And just showing pictures is not enough to identify the problem. Often issue is in the mesh itself, not even in textures.
