Thanks so much for the reference and that means a lot that you tried. I've also tried to convert and import some geoms into blender and oh goodness :hmph I keep getting errors.. I have the plug-in and everything..

88classic, if you're using Studio to clone the hair you will not need any plug-in to get the mesh into Blender. Clone the hair, switch to the meshes tab, and click the Export button. That will make a pop up box appear where you can choose the location and name for your saved .package. Then just double click the .blend Studio made and it will open the mesh in Blender.

That's perfect! Thanks I might be able to get something done. The real problem I'm having is importing a Sims 3 geom. The plugins are not working and I've downloaded two versions from MTS. But I might be able to resize a hairstyle that will look frankly better with the mesh file from Studio. I don't know..
