Hello folks, I'm currently modifying global light settings in a XML file, but every time I save my floats are converted into integers inside S4S (actual version 3.1.2.4). Tried to export and edit on notepad++ and when I import it through the warehouse it looks fine, but when I save the package if I open again I'll find the float values as integers.
The first picture inside S4S and the second in notepad with the right values:
Am I doing something wrong, or it is a bug?

Hi @billyroth.
While I myself have never had (or noticed, at least) that happening, what you are displaying is a radical difference in values..! o_0
Have you tried, instead of importing the .xml into Studio in Warehouse, simply selecting all in Notepad++ and pasting it into the XML area in Studio instead, then saving & re-opening to check if the values have stayed as what you desired? Just something that I sometimes find myself doing, so I though to ask if you had tried that approach. (I use Notepad++ almost exclusively for tuning .xml files myself)
Cheers!

Hello Minimonster. actually I did try to edit inside the studio, and pasting it too! But after saving the package it changes the values, I'm working with S4PE to get this done btw but S4S interface would make it so much easier (I already use it as default for packages). Thanks for the response thou

Hi again, billywroth. Glad to hear that you had tried work-arounds, even if they were unsuccessful. IIRC, working with .data files is one of the 'newer' features (I don't recall when it was introduced) of S4Studio, but given your multiple attempts, and how wildly the values are changed, I am tagging orangemittens and andrew in this reply to see if it should be logged into the Bug Reports section instead. Best of Luck with S4PE!
