As you can see by the (in game) picture there seems to be an issue with this particular mesh, so I tried to make an override. It doesn't work... There's no wrench icon like every other CAS override I have tested. Perhaps it's an issue with the actual game file and it would need to be fixed on EA's side?

Hi simguy80! The only reason that I can think of as to why there is no CC wrench is because the .package does not contain the CASPart resource(s). Myself, I have not noticed any native game hairs displaying that sideburn-area 'glitch', but have seen some that produce the neckline wonkiness (mostly after the cross-gender patch). Without knowing your process steps taken to create a Default Override, I myself am unable to answer more than that. Mathcope on the forums here has made several hairs recently, maybe he may have the answer you seek. Cheers.

Yup. The issue is caused by it being a cross-gendered hair. After some extensive testing, here's how I finally fixed it. This is how you can fix any cross gendered hairs as well. (Hopefully someone else will find this useful.) 1. In S4S make a CAS override by browsing the FEMALE section of the hairs. 2. Shift click the cross-gendered hair of your choice. 3. Next. Save. 5. For each CAS part, under PartFlags, select AllowforRandom, ShowInCasDemo, and ShowInUI (This section will already be filled in if it's a default FEMALE hair, if it's default MALE hair these will be blank and need to be filled in) 6. For each CAS part, under PartFlags2, select RestrictOppositeFrame 7. Save 8. Repeat 1-7, this time making an override by browsing the MALE section of the hairs.
