So, I'm trying to learn how to make clothes for sims 4 and the scarf I made looks fine on s4s but when I open CAS and I put it on a sim, it makes the sim invisible (the scarf is invisible too).
It should have proper uv0 and uv1 maps (transferred it from the nude top), proper vertex coloring and weights (used the necklace for weight transfer), and I feel like I'm going crazy so any help will be MUUCH appreciated! Do you have any idea what may cause this?
ps. are there any necklaces with 1 group? The one I used for this one had 2 so now it has 2 groups (one for my scarf mesh, and one for the original necklace which was ok for me since it was not visible under the scarf) and both have the right GEOM numbers but I felt like it would be much easier if there's an option with only 1 group instead of 2. Thanks in advance.

Please share your package and blend. We can't check what might be wrong if we can't see how your files are set up.

hi. 1). An accessory should not have a body combined with it. You s4studio_mesh_2 has a torso, so you need to delete it. 2). You based your project on a Get to Work item which is ok if you made it for yourself but isn't ok if you intend on sharing it with others. It will not appear in the game of someone who does not own Get to Work. 3). As far as I know, none of Base Game necklaces have 1 s4studio_mesh_, which, I assume, is because of how they interact with other CAS items. Normally, when you choose an outfit that would overlap with a necklace, it ( the necklace ) disappears. Meaning the order of Cut numbers and how the mesh is split is important. 4). You should always use the original blend exported from a package as a guide. If you hide a body in rig, you will see that there is a cube that has the same cut number as your scarf, meaning you assigned it wrong. so what you should do: - delete a torso from your s4studio_mesh_2; - change its cut number to 0001; - change s4studio_mesh_1's cut number to 0000; - save and import it in your project BUT if you intend on sharing it with people, start a new package from a Base Game necklace and import it there.

Hello, and thank you for your answer I did everything you said but it still makes the sim invisible... I guess I messed it so bad somewhere while making the scarf in the first place and ended up with an invisibility cloak cc :P

you must have either misunderstood something or the file didnt overwrite its previous version - i started from this necklace - exported the blend file from it, opened it, deleted s4studio_mesh_1, hid "top" in rig; - appended your scarf ( s4studio_mesh_2 from your blend ), deleted bone_bone_shape.002 and rig.001; - selected the body part in UV editor and deleted it in 3d view with Delete - Faces; - gave Cut number to your scarf ( 0001 ), renamed it ( isnt necessary ); final blend - replaced the old blend with this one in my NEW package; initially, my sim wore this jacket and, as you see, it does not work with this or any other necklace, so if you want the scarf to ALWAYS be visible then you probably should start from something else
