There are some websites that you can download from that still use adf.ly amongst other sites that are considered trojan.
How do you simmers access all the CC without malicious websites reeking havoc on your PC?
I love the content from Sims 4 Studio, everything from that site adf.ly and I don't know where else to go to get their content, especially there monster set.
Thank you.

I use a combination of uBlock Origin plug-in for Chrome (free) and a very nice security/virus scanner suite called Bitdefender (yearly sub). I also just flat refuse to download something if I have to go through more than one of those ad things. That one piece of CC may not be worth the repair costs (time, money and/or document loss) it is to redo my entire PC. Once I'm done, I scan my system at the end of the night.
Also there's many times where I can do google searches and find something very similar to what I'm looking for that isn't behind a paywall.

Thanks Sparkle, going to try a few different ways such as adfly bypasses etc, fingers crossed I can still access some CC. There is a particularly content creator that I love, its completely unique. Nothing like it and they only have adf.ly sadly,

h2oqueen, Wishing you good luck on your CC endeavors! I wish folks who are super unique and awesome like that would be just a touch more awesome and provide safe ways to download. I would gladly donate a couple dollars for the safety of no ad-fly. There are also a few extra plugins (ad.fly killer and skip shorte.st) I came across recently for chrome that are supposed to get you past them. Seem like they work ok too.

Yeah, sadly my internet security suite kills the adf.ly site lol. Gotta find a way to bypass adf.ly with my internet security suite first >.< Since it declares adf.ly a trojan (which it probably is).
Fortunately I have a dedicated gaming PC just for gaming, so if anything goes wrong, my precious files won't go down with it.
