So recently I decided to download some mm content instead of the usual cc. I downloaded mostly Hairs and a couple of accessories from various different websites. I downloaded them all as instructed by their creators and added them to my Mods folder. The problem I'm having is that only a couple of them are showing up in the actual game. Does this mean they're broken or are they just incompatible with the game or what? Any help would be great!

My guess is that they are recolors and you do not have the required mesh, either from game pack or CC.

It'd helpful to see some of the packages if you want someone to take a look. There could be multiple reasons for each one not working just as Leniad mentioned.

This is what I have in my mods folder, all the TextEdit Documents are the ones that don't work. I don't know if they are recolours or not since the webs i got them from didn't specify what they were and where i should get the original mesh...
*Idk how to attach an image... i'm on a mac and i've tried to attach the image of my files but nothing seems to work...*

dear, you can't copy paste the address linking to your computer. no one has access to your computer. you have to upload the pictures online and then paste the sharing link they give you here. applies to any files you want to share.
for images use: imgur.com (no registration needed) for packages or blend files: you can use Dropbox, mediafire, simfileshare (all need registration, free).
or you can simply paste the download post for the item you downloaded.
