I would like something out of game that would allow me to see exactly what is in a package file. I want this so I can go through my mods and get rid of what I no longer want in game.
Thanks

****Bump***
I am already starting the cull and re-sort process (damn this organised brain!) and this would be awesome. Something that just offers a quick mesh and texture view,or even just a thumbnail view(!) plus move and delete functions. I am using Studio for this atm but having to load up files individually is time consuming.

Help! I've recently discovered there are over 3000 files in my Mods folder!
I always see an item I want somewhere but it's a part of a set, and I think: Well, I'll just download all that and then delete the rest. Well then I get lazy, and sometimes packages have very unclear names.
It's especially hard to identify unwanted clothing and hairstyles.

I'd love something like this too I've tried Maysims Package Viewer, but it only showed around 30 out of my close to 4000 files.

As I know, right now one Russian guy is working on a tool Mod Conflict Detector which will help to detect a broken package, delete it and possibly view the content (if any custom thumbnail was created for this package). He has 2 versions of the program, one is unsupported anymore and doesn't allow to delete the file giving an error that the file is in use. However, you can see the file in the preview window and delete it manually in the folder. He is working on another version of the program. And there is no English version at this moment.

I've been wanting this very thing for a while. I hate that I can't see who clothing was created by and this will help tremendously.

I hope it's not against the rules to give the link to the different forum. I thought that the program is in Russian only, but I found in settings that it can be switched to English. The first post from the top has the link. Creator asked to provide the link to his thread on the forum if anybody shares it internationally. www.mixei.ru/threads/100474-Mod-Conflict-Detector-dlya-vyyavleniya-konfliktuyushhih-fajlov-packageClick "all files" tab to view the previews of the files. Pros. You can actually see a lot of the files if they have custom thumbnail made by creator. If you don't see, it means that probably creator didn't make a custom swatch. Then I would use Sims4Studio to review suspicious files. Cons. Most of the time you will not be able to delete the file via program menu. It will give you an alert that file is in use. So I just write the name of the file and delete it when I'm done viewing my files. Program is still in development. The creator is planning to share internationally final version of the program when he is done coding and testing.

You are welcome . I checked his thread today, he changed the information in his 1st post and the link on the top of the page is the link to the newest version of the program which is in Russian only at this moment and I am going to test how it works. If anybody needs older version (which is in English) with viewer, please download this one. www.mixei.ru/showpost.php?p=3067047I am going to test newest version of the program and post my thoughts later.
