Looking for someone to create a large painting for recoloring. I did this one for Sims 3 but need a canvas for Sims 4. Believe it was 4 tiles long (if that makes sense) I would really like to learn how to mesh & map my own but can't get it right. Thank you and please feel free to contact me with any questions.

msteaqueen:
What an awesome canvas!! Made some flower paintings and experimented with Color Replacement in Photoshop. Another question if you will- most of the canvases in Sims4 are tall. I went into Milkshape and UVMapper to widen the canvas but it would not import into TSRW (which is what I mainly work in). Am wondering if it is possible to get a wider canvas for paintings in S4S? Sorry- I can recolor all day long but Meshing and Mapping are two things I've never been able to get a hold of. Would you be able to help me out with this?

Maya those are just EA meshes with the bump and specular removed. Further, if you clone them with Studio you are likely to end up with extra images in the .package because tsrw incorrectly makes .packages with references to images in the fullbuild that aren't used by the object. If you use them in conjunction with Studio you will end up with a .package even more bloated than the original bloated .package.
Studio is working on adding new, easy to recolor meshes in the Recolorables feature. There are already a rug and a painting there. The Recolorables feature has fully templated meshes with blank bump and specular and are specifically designed to be easy to use There is a tutorial showing how to use these new meshes here:
www.sims4studio.com/thread/1126/recolor-studio-recolorables-mesh
twosister48, if you prefer using Milkshape to make object meshes with you can still use those meshes in conjunction with Sims 4 Studio. I wrote a tutorial that is posted here: www.sims4studio.com/thread/826/create-object-mesh-package-existing?page=1 that shows how to use a mesh in .obj format to create a new object for Sims 4. If you have questions regarding the use of tsrw this is not really the best forum to ask them because people here use Sims 4 Studio. You'd probably have greater success asking about why tsr won't import your mesh at the tsr forums.

Thanks orangemittens. It was more of a general statement than question. My pics, when completed, are often squished and am just wanting to figure out how to make a large canvas like msteaqueen made for me but wider to keep the squish down.
