Sorry if this is in the wrong place, if so can a mod please put it in the right section.
I'm currently sorting out the animation list into categorizes to help someone with their own project but I have few thing I wold like to know. What I have noticed is that there are plenty of files that all have what I would call action coding for in game and CAS. The beginning of the codes differ but rest of the code have a verity of others that seem to do the same things. So if a person is wanting to extract an in game animations and combine them with others to create a the scene they want which files are of importance and which ones are not be worried about. For example.
ac2o_petBed_quirkSpin2Laydown_x ad2o_petBed_quirkSpin2Laydown_x al2o_petBed_quirkSpin2Laydown_x
The beginning of the codes are different, while the rest is identical. Please give the most dumbed down answer you can think of because I get jest of what these codes do but have no idea as to why so many are done in this manner. It is like reading a foreign language to me...lol

I'm not familiarized yet with animal codes but the first part of the pose tells you the individuals the pose is meant to. Example, a group pose of a child talking to and adult would be.. c2a. or two childs.. c2c. Or if it's a child interacting with an object then c2o. The ac, ad.. all that corresponds to a pet and their size. Again, haven't had a chance to learn about them. You can export the poses and you'll notice which pet and the size by looking at the rig.
Not sure if that was your question.. ?

Actually you helped immensely. I was able to figure out what the abbreviations for majority of all the prefix codes and I figure out the reason as to why there are so many codes that match following the prefix. The letter I haven't been able to figure out is what exactly does "l" stand for. Kind get the feeling it has something to do with the vet clinic or just the code for "lot"
