Ok I'm not able to reply or start a thread in the report bugs section of the forum. I had to uninstall and re-download and re-install s4s. I'm not able to download now because my virus system is detecting a trojan virus. I have removed the virus and tried downloading again, but it is still saying the same thing. I trip the zip and dropbox areas as well...getting the same thing. I need help? Really bad. I was going to pm om or andrew, but I didn't know if they would look. I don't want to spook anyone.

@queenelizabethi, if it's your browser that won't let you download s4s you need to research how to turn the blocker off. if it's your computer that wont let you download and install it, you need to go into your computer settings and create an exception

thank you. it wasn't my browser. I didn't have a problem with it the first time i downloaded it. It was the second time. It was my virus protection software, but it managed to let it go through before. I guess with the recent update it wouldn't let it go through.

annabluu...i followed the instructions for security software, but it does not pertain to the software I have. I have defender. It isn't my comp or the browser. It's the security software. This latest update from windows is what did it, and windows defender was obviously updated along with it. ugh!

yeah, I already knew about that. I checked it out. didn't help in this case. I did find something else though. It might help for people in the future with windows defender. There are two options: 1. You can continue to use Windows Defender Security Program OR download and install a trusted anti-virus software. In my case I chose Avast...free software version from www.filehippo.com. When you download a different anti-virus software, Defender automatically shuts down. It stays in the operating system and is able to detect if the anti-virus software is on or not. If it is not, Defender comes back on. I'm keeping Avast at the moment. 2. There is a different way. It is bypassing the Defenders system. Not sure what version of defender the person was using. It might have been one from last year. But here is the link to the article. Bypassing Windows DefenderI hope this helps people in the future. I knew those installation links were not full of a trojan virus. I mean come on....(I have a pretty good pun for that one kids! But I will keep it clean) I did get it to work with option 1. Thanks for those who helped me out. I also learned where to post other things in the forums...Who said you can't teach an old dog a new trick?
