I am like going out of my mind here. I know it is because I am very tired...a noob, and very old...
Do I have to create a banner for my creative studio? If so, how do I do that?
The button pic (icon) to use a link back to the site....I am having a hard time in WIX. I am currently creating my website. I can do a hover box and have one on every page, but I am having difficulties with it. What is an easy way to do a link in any website? I know code, but some how I haven't figured out how to do certain things in WIX. (Wow, even that didn't make sense to me!)
Also, there isn't a general s4s forum to ask about "forum" questions like the one I am asking or is the general chat for that? (Again, that sounds like a dumb question...I just can't help myself tonight.)
I might think of something better later, but for right now...This is all I have.
Queen E out for now.

I'm actually unsure if I understood what you mean with the button pic- I don't know how WIX works because I never had a website with them, but I think html should work for an minni banner. Do you mean this one? if so, the easier codes would be something like this: Html: <a href="http://sims4studio.com"><img src="http://i.imgur.com/cG24GEX.png" ></a> BBCode: [url=http://sims4studio.com][img]http://i.imgur.com/cG24GEX.png[/img][/url] And if none of them works, them I'm out of ideas lmao About the banner for your studio- if I don't remember wrong it's optional, just like to make your studio a bit more pretty and personal. You can do it with any editor like photoshop, gimp, etc... Or ask someone to make it for you.

Unfortunately, with wix everything is drag and drop. You can use html on some things or the whole thing, but I am trying to get this completed as quickly as possible. It seems everything these days you have to have even a small website...ugh! Anyway, WIX is not accepting the website address for the studio. WIX is saying the address is incorrect or cannot be found...it won't accept the address without the www. in front. WTH!? I am trying though...just pulling my hair out until there is nothing else...really it is no big deal (not having hair, am I correct?) As for the banner, thanks...that is what I was thinking I would have to do. Create a banner in Gimp! ok that sounds like fun, I think. Thank you for your help. I do appreciate it.

Oh you can put the www. in front (try both http:// www.sims4studio.com and www.sims4studio.com without the spaces). If that's the only problem you are having now just add it, it will still redirect to this forum. If it still gives you problems, you should contact WIX's staff because that's a problem with their site/hosting.

Ok, so I was like really wondering how to do this stuff and get it up. In the instructions, it doesn't tell you. So, here's a small tut on it.
What you will need: Gimp 2.8 (or photoshop I can't afford ps.) image size approx 940L X 250W
For the banner:
1. Use Google Images. (Using Google images, when you hover over the image...the size of the image is what you see first at the bottom of the hover. For those of you who do not know.) (My banner is created from around 20 pics. Yeah! That's what I said. You don't have to do that.) Pick a picture that you know won't be too pixelated when you stretch the photo. Trying to find a photo that is around the same size as what you need for the banner helps drastically.
2. I believe you know how to save a photo from the internet by now; so, we are bypassing that. In Gimp, Go to File>Open> then locate your pick>Click OPEN
3. Now that your image is in the work space, You can go to Image>Scale Image> and put in the number from above. Those numbers will assure you that the banner will fit and won't take up too much space on every page.
4.In Gimp, you can't just SAVE AS your work. Your work will be saved as an .XCF. This is no good. So, you have to EXPORT AS all work for S4S and other stuff. TIP: Because S4S uses .PNG, I automatically save all photos as this and all work as well even for my own personal use. It helps me across the board. Ok for the task at hand, File>Export As> at the top change the file name (optional), change the extension to .png (or any photo image extension)> EXPORT TIP: If using .png, when you click EXPORT a pop-up comes up, just click EXPORT again.
5. Upload to any photo storage account. I won't cover that because...well, I hope you already know how to. You can find Orangemittens short tut on this <a href="http://sims4studio.com/thread/3282/post-picture-studio-forums">Here</a> 6. So, you have your banner in your photo storage center, NOW what? When you create your studio, there is a line that talks about your banner. The URL link OM was talking about in her tutorial...that is where you put your link. You just simply paste it there into the box.
Creator Studio Logo (the tiny pic by your studio link) What you will need: Gimp 2.8 An image this size 32L X 32W
Now for the little pic beside your creator studio link in the custom content creator studio forum. (wow! that was a lot to say about a tiny pic!) 1. To create the image...it is cut and dry. It is created the same as the banner only difference is the size of the pic. 32L X 32W 2. Put the image into your photo software account just like before. Then, paste the link into the box just under where it states to on the creator studio upload page. (Because I only have one upload, I was able to do it there. You might have to go to the very first upload to put both of these in, OR you can put them in with any upload.)
I hope this helps with all of the new people coming in! If there is something you noticed that needs to be changed, just post it! and remember...just keep simming!
