I'm trying to categorize the cc i've got in my mods folder and it takes over 5 minutes just to check all the boxes since it takes so long. I have a lot of CC to go through and I don't think it'll ever be finished. I feel like the size of my mods folder might be an issue, I've got 3.31GB on it.

I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014).
I got my game loading faster and not lagging by merging package files, going offline on origin and in game, and by unchecking laptop mode. I keep a primary folder of content by creator and merge by creator. I try to stick with only one file deep for most content. I also do not keep much in my tray file. I hope this helps. It used to take forever for my game to load and then my fan was going constantly. Now it loads in less than a minute and my fan only runs if I am running iTunes as well.
