I'm going to try and explain this the best I can. XD Alright, so I need a door that's the same thickness as a wall with no door knob, and preferably a third less width. It's basically supposed to be a secret door that I can texture to match a wallpaper of a wall so no one can see it, but it still functions; opens and closes and all that. I tried doing it myself, but it did not work! Anyone willing to do this for me??? <3

So I was able to create this, however there is an issue that makes it not shareable. The lighting. It does not take the lighting the same as the wall and one side is darker than the other, even with direct lighting. |

I tried with another door and got better results as far as color but it still doesn't take the same lighting as the wall. One more thing that I see that as an issue is when the door is facing backward it swings the wrong way. I could make a double or opposite door. Did you want any other heights too? This is currently set to short wall height. |

Short wall is fine, but it does need to be a single door, and it's alright if it swings the wrong way. Preferably, I'd like it a little but thinner in width than a normal door, but if that's not feasible, then that's okay!

I'd love this door as a mirror. I'm making Christine's dressing room with the big mirror door that goes to the Phantom's lair from Phantom of the opera. I'd love it as a single wide door that looks like it could be her dressing room mirror. There doesn't have to be a frame around it. Do you have this door available? Maybe I could figure out how to make it a mirror though I'm super bad at blender. This is so cool!

A mirror you can walk through like a door? I have one of those. Covers the entrances to the Secret Passages in my Clue Mansion. It's not fancy-looking but at least I don't have a hole in the floor with a ladder stick out of it as my 'secret passage' like most people do.   Mayor Green transiting the "Nothing-To-See-Here" mirror-door into the Secret Passage from the Lounge to the Conservatory.
It has some idiosyncracies. Due to its identity issues, it's invisible when you first put it up, but after you've exited (and saved!) the lot and returned it's visible. And until it's visible you can't move or delete it, remember. Also, for deep seated psychological reasons, it continues to think of itself as a mirror and refuses to show up with the doors in Build/Buy. You have to find it with the other mirrors to buy. Other than that, it works fine. |
