Hi everyone  Since I'm using a mod for better feet, all of the socks in the game now look like this:  Now my request is to either generally give socks an own mesh (don't know if that's possible; would be cool though because it then would also apply to cc socks) OR to create some 'shoes' that have an own mesh (e.g. the vanilla feet one) and texture, so they look like the regular socks in the game. Hope my request is understandable ^^ I would really really appreciate this! Thanks for reading |

Hi disturbedmoron I believe it's not possible. Socks don't have mesh, texture of the socks overlays feet mesh. The mesh that you have in the game is an override of default feet. |

What default are you using? It wouldn't solve your problems for open-toed shoes, but if your sims are going barefoot it may be ideal to download non default replacement detailed foot shoes. You can find some here, if you download the standard feet, though it doesn't provide detailed feet for all ages: sims4studio.com/thread/2622/untraditionalnerd?page=1&scrollTo=36989And here, for all the other ages that do not have detailed feet shoes in the above link: (download the first package on the page for detailed foot shoes only, the other one is a default replacement): modthesims.info/d/588172You would have to remove your default replacement feet first, though. And if you want to make sure your sims wear these detailed feet even in say, the bath, you can use mc command center to put the detailed feet shoes on their bathing outfit - I'm not sure how well that would turn out, but you can try. |

Feyona: Yeah, I know. It's a shame. But 'shoes' that just have the default foot mesh and sock texture should be possible, shouldn't they? purrdalecki: The second link you provided is exactly the replacement mod I use for my sims. My problem is that I'm using a certain mod from a certain adult modding site, too. And when the action starts, the sims just strip all their clothes, including their 'foot shoes'. Then I'm left with the ugly ass default sims feet again. Which brings me back to my request: 'shoes' that have the default sims feet mesh with sock textures. Basically, something like this but as shoes:  Mainly for males but both genders would be even better, of course. Pretty pretty please?

@misters: Because a) it bothers me when one part looks exceptionally worse than the others, be it feet or any other part. And b) foot fetish.
