Hi! I made a new mesh cabinet, the foundation is end table. He had slots already. I have changed their position and added new ones. But in the game objects are not put on the new slots. Their arrangement is the same as an end table. I found a mistake . I have one coordinate has been assigned 2 slots. I removed one, and it worked! Thank you so much for such a wonderful lesson! This is what I've been waiting so long! Now I can make objects for TS4 without problems and headaches

The new feature is great, I wish there was a cheatsheet for the names of slots in Studio though. :P

Hi darkdata, I'm glad you're enjoying the new feature. A list of all slot types is a good idea and I've added it to the list of things to look into.

I LOVE the slot editor :D I am having an issue with it working properly though. When I copy and add slots from the rig/slots tab it doesn't add the equivalent slots to the Slot resource. I tried using the sync rig changes to slot command but that doesn't add them either. I have to add them manually to the slot resource, then use the command and it will work. Any ideas? Am I doing something wrong? Oh and the original item I cloned a plant that I had added one slot to originally. I'm using it as a base for a bunch of decorative storage stuff I'm making. I tested the base in game and the slot functions normally.

Hi BrazenLotus, we're still hammering out issues with the slot editor. Definitely when you first add a slot you need to move or duplicate that slot or add another slot in order for Studio to recognize that any slot has been added and put that slot into the slot resource. What you're describing sounds a little different though and it would be helpful to see the .package (preferably the one that you started with when first trying to add more slots to your slotted plant item if you have it) that you're working with.

Okay the file is HERE. The original file is just the plant that I added a slot to. Issues or not, it really is a wonderful tool so far. The options you added for moving and adjusting new slots are awesome!

Hi BrazenLotus, thank you for sending the file. I opened your .package using 2.7.0.1 (Jackpot) and clicked the Rig/Slot tab. I saw your slot there, selected it, clicked Copy, and a second slot canister was added. I clicked over to the Warehouse and selected the Slot resource and the Container Slots within that resource. Your old slot and my new slot were both listed there. I saved the .package and reopened it and the slots were both still present. Can you describe your steps you take that are leading to the unwanted result you're getting?

I did the exact same thing. I just uninstalled and reinstalled S4S too but nothing changes. I tried re-cloning the same plant from the base game and adding a slot to it but it does the same thing. Could it be my computer? I'm still on windows 8.1 but can upgrade to 10 if you think it'll help.
