Guys .. this is happening: Mission Control we Have Toddlers

I'm truly thrilled, but it's killing me waiting for the S4S update to roll out so I can start making CC for toddlers.

I actually only had that problem with 2 vases from Saudade Sims. I also had to remove UICheatsExtension and Call Anytime+Relationship gain. All my other CC appears to be working fine and I've had Cc end up in my inventory with every patch.. it is something related to the game turning mods off when it patches I think- not necessarily the CC itself other than the issue with lighting from the last patch. If it was lighting in your inventory it was borked patch before the toddler patch.. older CC lights may not be patched. Also creators have yet to update TV's to work with the gaming console from City Living

I'm so glad toddlers are FINALLY implemented. I thought it would end up being a complete expansion or something that we'd have to buy. I wonder if they'll do something similar with the other supernatural races. So glad we're getting vamps, but I really want a witch and fairy sim lol

Also, I'm kinda curious about this since I've only been using S4S for like a month... so forgive me if this is a stupid question, but....

How long does it usually take for S4S devs to come out with a new update? And of course, I'm not asking for a definitive date, just kinda wondering on average how long it's taken new updates to roll out.

They are usually pretty fast about it. Last post patch update only took about a week. I make no guarantees though, the S4S devs have FT jobs and lives outside the Sims just like the Gurus do and it all depends on what they have going on. They need time to pop the game open and see what changes have been made to the game and update s4S. What will probably take longer is creators who are still in the community updating any kid stuff they have made (toyboxes, games, stuffed animals, dollhouses) and toddler useable objects like counters (they can apparently help themselves to family meals), radios and televisions (the dance to radio and watch TV actions from Sims 2 are back). Some of us who make CC may have to get together and update items from creators who have been absent from the community either due to hiatus or retirement. Given creators still aren't done updating TV's and Lights from the City Living patch.. I'd expect a few months on that

Oh awesome! Thank you so much for answering that! I kinda figured it varied no a lot of different things, I was just curious since this is my first time using S4S during a new game patch. Will the S4S notify upon opening that there's a new patch, or is that something we need to look out for in the forums (like an announcement or something)?
