I need some help understanding why does tattoo looks different than on the texture I made. I had an idea to make a kiss on the cheek tattoo. I use Sugar version 126.96.36.199 and import the texture in PNG. I cloned tattoo on the hand and in warehouse switched Body type to the mask (I later realized that choosing mask for cloning would be better than tattoo on the hand which would not be visible in CAS), but I don't that it has anything with the problem. I imported an image and noticed that it has some dark spots on the texture and when I looked at RLE texture on the warehouse tab I noticed that texture got a few dark spots after importing. As I understand that the picture is highly compressed when imported since original texture is 32.7kb and RLE is only 3.2kb, so what I see on RLE texture are artifacts after compression. Here is the picture oh zoomed textures for comparison. So my question is how to fix this, how to avoid this? Thank you in advance. And here is the link to the file in case if I didn't explain well or there is not enough information. www.dropbox.com/s/mxu60z7u6q7er70/Feyona_kiss_tattoo.package?dl=0
UPD. I decided to try to save the texture in DDS format. It helped, but I still would like to know if it's possible to save import PNG files without loosing in quality.
Thank you! I will test it later. And yes, I totally forgot to mention that I am using Photoshop CC. I have some issue with color profile of my monitor, Photoshop always gives me a message that it's incorrect profile and I press "ignore it" since when I press "use it anyway" the picture in photoshop is yellowish. I haven't figured out how to set the correct color profile for my monitor yet.
Please don't DM me here or elsewhere asking for assistance with Ninjaripper or CC. I don't work in Ninjaripper anymore. Please post your questions in Creator Help thread so everyone can chime in and help solving the problem
Hey, I've had some trouble figuring this out since I'm a complete newbie, but the image is saving in a DTX1 compression instead of a DXT5 compression like it should be? I didn't see this addressed in the thread, is there any way to fix it?
Um, I made my tattoo another way and here are the steps. 1. clone out tattoo as a png. 2. delete it and customize my own tattoo 3. save it as a png. 4 open paint.net and save it as a dds 5. open it in s4s 6. put it in my mods folder 7. test It in gamr my problem is that wen I test It in my game, my sim gets pale, and the eyebrows overlap, and the undergarments over lap. I don't know what i'm doing wrong, it's worked before. Please please help

Hi monkinonk , sorry for the late reply...I think your post was missed when you posted it. Which image editor are you using? Each of the commonly used image editors has a pop up that appears when you save as .dds and that is where you select the type of .dds to save in. You might find it easier to simply save your image as a .png instead of a .dds and then import your .png into your .package. Studio is able to accept .png images for every image type.
Hi kaesimmer, there is no need to save the image as a .dds image if you prefer to use the .png format. Studio can accept the import of .png for any image type. If you post your .package someone can take a look.
Please help other creators find Sims 4 Studio and receive the help you received by mentioning Sims 4 Studio with your downloads Please do not PM me with questions about projects or getting Studio to run on your computer. I do not answer these PMs.
