I am wanting to know if it is possible to convert sims 3 poses to sims 4 and if it is how simple or complicated it is . THere are so many fight animations and poses for sims 3 and nearly none for sims 4 every single fight or weapon pose available I have acquired and i keep running across these perfect S3 poses and im weeping inside. I know I would have to go through the channels of asking these people permission to convert them if it even is possible and within my capability but i have brought this question to google several times and i never seem to get anything on the topic the only conversions it discusses are object and cas . If it is technically possible to convert would i still need to have blender or whatever program is used to make these poses?

You can't convert poses, I've already tried and no one has figured out otherwise. The joints are different unfortunately and cause the rig to go berserk when you try exchanging the pose from rig to rig. You can see my failure at converting below. xD {Oops}  To answer your other question though, if we did somehow succeed in finding a way to convert poses you would still need Blender. I'm sure if you put the poses up in the request section or ask certain creators they will make them for you. There are three creators I know of that will take requests, but of course they may refuse them. That is flowerchamber, conceptdesign97sims, and de-lvia on tumblr. De-lvia is the most likely to take the request as they made at least one weapon pose pack already (though it was a mix of everything). |

MizoreYukii Actually it is possible to convert at least animations! I've seen someone has done it. The post is HERE. I don't really know about the process of poses and animations so I won't be of much help. But you can take a look in that thread.
