I am from Germany Mittelrheintal /Rheinland-Pfalz / Bacharach The region of castles. I live a few Miles in a small village in the mountains of Bacharach. I was born here ,I never was somewhere else. Wie geth es dir mein freund. I stayed in Germany for many years and I love my memory of the country. I stayed in Stuttgart and the black forest was just a stone throw from there. I am hoping to be back this year for the October fest. Oh how I miss the Country.

It's so cool to see where the Sims community is in the world! Spirashun I'm part Italian and I've been to Venice, Italy. I've got to say, Italy is a very beautiful Mediteranean country, espeically if you go to the right places. Have you been to England and if so, where? cattummy that's so cool! How is Russia compared to the US? Bakie I've been watching your videos and your accent is awesome! I've never been to the Netherlands, but to me it seems like a mythical place full of colourful plants and magical water :D but perhaps that's because I live in England aha. Asyli Germany looks so beautiful omg! I used to learn German all the way back when I was in Year 7 (I believe that's 6th Grade in America? Well anyway, I was 10-11) and I love the language and it was really fun to learn. Thanks! I don't think my accent is awesome, but aweful...but thanks anyway! Glad you DO like it. The Netherlands isn't colourful and magical, it's most of the year very grey-ish, or at least the clouds are. Don't think it differs that much from england. Maybe some places ar magical though! But I think each country has it's own magical places.

Bakie hmm, there are some nice places in England (mostly country) and some of the castles are really nice. I'll add some pictures of the castles and landmarks: This is Leeds Castle and it's really pretty. I've been there quite a few times. It's where Henry VIII lived for a long time with one of his wives (can't remember which lmao ) There is also Windsor Castle which is one of the many castles that the Queen owns: Then there is Dover Castle and if the day is clear enough, you can see France from over the water: As you can see, I like castles a lot... I swear I was meant to be born a princess... yup, I'm still convinced that I'm secretly Royal Blood and kind of hoping for a Princes Diaries type of situation to happen to me.

I'm sometimes known as the Penta-continentalist. My mother is Asian-American-distantly Hispanic (Filipina, part Native American), she met a European man (mainly German, part French) who had immigrated to Australia. They met in their workplace in West Africa, where I was conceived, born and brought up. Then I moved to Spain and married a lovely Jewish man. So I was raised African but have an Australian passport, yet ethnically I'm Asian, European, American. I can pass for white, or Hispanic, or part Asian, or Jewish, or Arabic, or Mediterranean or South American. What race I look like is not important to me though. I love travelling and can live anywhere but I "most myself" at home in The Gambia, West Africa, where I was born, where I honeymooned, and where I shall die and be buried, Insha'allah. But I was happy to hear about AdonisPluto's Nigerian origins, I actually started a tumblr because whereas I did see quite a few African Americans, I found very few Simmers from the Motherland and I wanted to touch base and spread the love. For the record, I have traveled outside Africa too - various countries in Europe, Asia and also I spent a couple of months in Australia too and will probably touch base there again soon. Still - Mama Africa, she never leaves you and I can never leave her.

Cool, I'm from the Philippines. It's sad to see that my culture doesn't get enough attention like the Koreans/Chinese/Japanese, they even get Custom Content which is kinda unfair too... I'd my make own if I know how lol

Hey wintersoldier as you may have seen I'm partly Pinay too. I can help you with recolours if you want (the first recolour in my studio has a batik bed, sample number 14 here) - meshing I don't know so much about but there are some really great tutorials and wonderful helpful people ( HERE a list of tutorials). I also made some Muslim attire (kufi/taqiyah, etc) in my studio - my Pinoy family is mainly Catholic but I have many Moro friends. What Filipino languages do you speak? I only understand a bit of Tagalog and love listening to Chavacano because it is so similar to Spanish (which I do know) but my family speaks Ilocano and Visayan besides Tagalog. What Filipino cc would you like to see? I'm happy to make the traditional Baro or butterfly dress for example, and there are some very nice tropical walls by Mara I recommend if you are a builder. Btw I do use coconuts for everything, wear tsinelas and lip point like the best of them. And welcome to the forums. I kinda liked what Ali Wong says, there are "fancy Asians", a.k.a Japanese, Chinese, Koreans, and then "jungle Asians" like Filipinos, Malaysians, Cambodians, Thai... People tend to think of the first group as whiter, more technical-minded and anciently elegant, and associated to cold weather, whereas "Jungle Asians" are connected to Tropical Islands, grass skirts, primitive lifestyles and dark skins, but we have some really great traits too - we're extremely resourceful, tough survivalists, more brainier than one would think and there is a cultural enrichment that is really unique. No one group is better, and it's not always a good idea to generalize races or nationalities, and aside from all of that I'm proud to be part Pinay.

It's nice to see another Filipino besides gohliad.Thank you for the welcome, I speak Kapampangan besides Tagalog. I know how to recolor but only if it's simple like graphic tees and stuff, if I find inspiration... I would honestly love to see the traditional clothings in the game but I don't know how to mesh and I'm not planning to because it's too complicated for me. I've seen some Philippine CC but from the 2nd Sims game, it kinda saddens me a bit that we don't get recognized, probably because we're too diverse (Foreign people are so confused with me because they think I'm East Asian but I have a Spanish surname). I hope that people get to create more cultural CC from all around the world, I've seen the City Living trailers and it's got cultural stuff too. I've seen Native American clothing as well in these forums. I think it'd be a great if CC creators would make CC based on their culture now that it's actually United Nations month this October (I don't celebrate Halloween lol)

believe&become wow, your origin story is great! You are definitely multicultural! I'm proud to say that, although I was born and raised in England, I have Mediterranean background, but you are indeed very tropical when it comes to your origins. I like how you said that you don't care about what race you look like, it's nice to hear that from someone as I am mainly surrounded by people who are solely English.

Hi GeometricSims! I'm going to share a tidbit of my personal journey with you: when I was very young (and a little ignorant), there was no one with my background and me being shy, lonely and eccentric so I kind of made up the idea that being mixed race was in some way "better", as if it were an "improvement" or "enrichment" - it was a self-defense strategy for low esteem, but at the same, as I matured (a little), I realized that was ALSO prejudice - because people who come from one "single" ethnic or cultural background are not better or worse, it is totally beyond their control. The only thing that remains connected to the idea is this (and even this is cannot be generalized, each person is different): 1) if your ethnic/cultural background is quite clearly defined, you will probably not have cultural identity crisis at an early age, and have a slightly less chance at feeling rejection if you live within that background and with a minimally "functional" family. So life is better in that regard - at the same time, there is a slightly less opportunity to grow and think out of the box, as you tend to think that what you know is what is "normal" - though as you mature, you can change that. 2) if you are from a mixed background, you will question at some point where you belong to as to cultural/ethnic identity (i.e. early identity crisis) and be classified to a certain extent as an outsider by some people (not necessarily aggressively, just that people don't know how to "classify" you in order to "treat you" according to their preset behaviour". So So although there may be a little more loneliness or rejection, there is also the chance to grow very fast and appreciate different things (i.e. different beauty standards, different languages or religions) at an early age. Bottom line, each has advantages and disadvantages - everyone has their "throw" of the cards, but it's what you MAKE of the hand you are thrown, that's where the FUN and GAME resides. I wish you much luck, discovery, joy and truths in your personal journey.
