Hi, how do I open a second instance of studio? you say to click the first object definition line for the princess bed. there is an object definition line under the DST image. do we not change those? I am glad I found this tutorial because I was changing the number under sellers point and wondering why it wasn't working lol

You can open the second instance of Studio exactly how you open the first. I'm not sure what you mean by the second question. Every object definition line needs to be changed. There will be one that goes with each swatch in the .package. If you don't change a swatch's object definition line then that swatch choice in the game will not have the new tuning you want it to have. If you're creating a new object the best way to go about things is to change the tuning before you add swatches. That way you will only have to change the tuning for a single swatch (one Object Definition). Then when you add new swatches your changes will be included on each swatch. If that didn't answer the question please post again.

Thank you so much for this!! I have recolored some Wall Racks which I thought was a waste if used just for show purpose. So I used your method and turned it into a dresser!

Hi jankoski30, welcome to Studio forums. Studio's Warehouse has been updated so that the field names are labeled with the name EA uses. The old selling points field is now called ObjectTooltipTags.

Hi all, I'm following this tutorial but have been over and over the catalog line and can't find a 'selling points' bit? x

Hi everyone, I'm using the Jackpot version of Sims Studio and in the object definition I see the line PositiveEnvironmentScore. I was wondering, is it now possible to fill in the environment score there, instead of copying the tuning from another object? Thank you very much!

Hi! Hoping for some help. I followed all the steps to upgrade one of my beds, went into the game and it wouldn't place. It said the footprint of the object is missing. I went back to the princess bed, went to footprint and edit, copied the resources and pasted them into the bed I was upgrading. I went back into the game and tried again, this time it placed but disappeared. Can anyone tell me what went wrong? I finally exported all the meshes into blender and made it like a new object using the princess bed as the clone and it works fine. It would be easier to change the tuning this way rather than making a new object each time if I knew what I did wrong. Thanks in advance for any help.

If it's saying the footprint of the object is missing the most likely issue is that your original clone was made using the Create Standalone Recolor feature instead of the Create 3D mesh feature. Object standalone recolors are specifically made to not contain the footprint resource so that they will require the original item in the Mods folder with it in order to work properly. 3D mesh clones are full clones that do not need any other item in the Mods folder to work.

Thanks OrangeMittens, I'll try the rest of them. Maybe some I'll be able to just change the tuning and others I'll have to run through blender

So this is my first time working with the Studio - I'm trying to follow your instructions but afraid of breaking something. After I click on the Cordelia bed and hit next, it pops up asking what to save as. Does this name matter, so long as it isn't the same as another? What are these various folders in Sims 4 Studio?
Sorry for the derp, and thanks in advance!
