I tried making a bang accessory by using the bangs which I took off a hair I liked. It was my first time using blender but I'm pretty sure (?) I got it by following a youtube tutorial and it somehow successfully showed up in game... sorta. Through sims4studio, I changed the category from hair to glasses and tried using it in game, however it either wouldn't show up in with the hairs or would glitch with the other hair so it was the only thing that showed up. Here's an image: ibb.co/hV9gBzF . Moreover, it wouldn't use it's own texture, but the hair's texture. For example, if I was using a blonde hair then the bangs would also be blonde even though it is meant to be a separate colour. Retracing my steps, I firstly went into blender and deleted the hair and only left the bangs part. Then, I imported the mesh over the original hair and changed the category into glasses before loading it up into my game. I'm not really sure what went wrong as it is my first time trying to create a cc, but I have an idea it may be the texture. Just wanted to ask how I could fix the texture so it could work separately with hairs. Thank you !!!!!!

Hi. Almost all cas items share the same uv space, divided in sections by category. Your item is in the glasses category, so its uvs and slots should be in the space meant for glasses, not hair. Basically, you need to move uvs in uv_0 and re-make textures

hi! I'm using that same hair to make those exact bangs! Ive been struggling as I removed all the hair in blender and yet it does that glitch like yours but I put it in piercings not glasses! Were you able to figure it out? And if so would I be able to use the mod? I would highly appreciate if I could! I also dont mind paying. It would only be for personal use so I would not advertise it, post it, nor claim it as my own!

- open your blend file, in 3d view select bangs and change the cut number to 0000. Delete the other two meshgroups. Save; - open s4s, open your package, Tools - Color palette, Import color palette; - back to s4s's main menu, clone any earrings; - import your blends and textures, Tools - Color palette, Apply palette to package, import other textures; - if you'd like, recategorize as something else

When I press ctr R it says "loop cut does not work well on deformed mesh". Also when I try to import my mesh in sims4studio it gives the error: no meshes found to import. make sure you set the "cut number" in then S4Studio Mesh Tools Panel for each mesh you are importing.

Hello, I'm having the same problem, and nothing here seems to work for me. When I try and import the hair into sims4studio, the hair is either not there at all or it's on the floor. I'm not sure what to do. I'm using a different hair set though.
