Have you all tried uninstalling, then downloading Sugar again via link? It worked for me that way. The actual link was incorrect- nothing to do with the installation. But it's fixed now |

Geez....Origin had a C++ visual update Agreement box to check. (You don't see that everyday.)
Microsoft 64 bit play....FINALLY! HURRAH!
Now, we have to re-enable Mods on all Updates....blah, figures.

If I try to open a specific .package, it will still open with (joy) even though I have installed (sugar)
If I open (sugar) first then locate the .package there is no problem, but that's just a lot of work every time I have to open a .package
I haven't seen anyone else with this problem yet, so what am I doing wrong?

Hi missgameuse26 , andrew is working on it Hi b1rd13 , I assume you installed Sims 4 Studio using the installer versus extracting the 7zip file? It's fine either way, just may be helpful info. You need to tell Windows what program should be used to open .package files. When viewing a package that you want S4S to edit, right click it and select "open" or "open with". Then, select Sims 4 Studio. If it's not listed, use the option to look for the app among all the ones you installed on Windows. If still no luck, beyond that, you can tell Windows (still within open or open with) to look for the program (app) on your computer: Find and select the Sims 4 Studio shortcut on your desktop. What version of windows are you using? It shouldn't matter but if my suggestion doesn't fix your issue it will be helpful to troubleshoot further. I know this was rather detailed. If any of it didn't quite make sense please post back with more info on your situation. |
