fufu508Oh, so that was what you meant! Now I'm glad I posted that Volunteer List idea thing. You got it right, I didn't do anything special. I posted it in the same way as you would post Latin Alphabet. (As a side note, you wouldn't need the (Kanji) part in Japanese - that's the name of the alphabet. 日本語 - This is in " Kanji", にほんご - this is in " Hiragana", and ニホンゴ - this is in " Katakana". All of the above represent "Nihongo", meaning "Japanese language".) believe&becomeNo worries, if you need any help on those languages please don't hesitate to contact me While I don't speak any Creoles and usually try to stick to the standard, I fully appreciate the linguistic and cultural diversity this planet has to offer -- I totally agree with you, it's cool to belong to this community

Hey guys.I've been thinking about this for a while now, and I figured I'd finally write about it. I do hope this is in the correct forum category, because I've spent 10 mins trying to figure out where to put it. I've helped a few people with translating things (traits) for The Sims, and I like to help out. And maybe there are more people out there that do (I know there is!) Also, I've noticed that some people who use this forum sometimes have trouble making themselves understood, and if we could match them with someone who speaks the same language, they could get the help they need? Maybe we could put a list together with people who are willing to help that people can contact when they need help? The Volunteer List
Dutch - Bakie French - fuyaya French (Basic) - Spirashun German - @stevenssimsstuff Jamaican Patois - believe&become Japanese - courtesyKorean - courtesySpanish - believe&become Swedish - J Mzungu That's great to have a volunteer list! Could you help to translate / correct two game commands : "lean", "lean here and chat" ? See the post here: sims4studio.com/thread/4092/translation-helpCount me to join in the team, too. I can help by Chinese and German.

Another Spanish-speaking simmer here! South American accent, so that is handy if anyone needs help with translations.

I speak Afrikaans, but I doubt that it would be much help? And then a little Hindi Those are exactly the types of languages we need in this team indiaskapie All languages are needed but those not spoken by many makes me super happy if someone volunteers for. I'd really like to make a whole list featuring every language possible, so If you would like to volunteer, I'd be really happy. Would you like to volunteer? I could definitely help for Polish but I don't know if many people in the sim community speak that. Like I said to Indiaskapie, our goal is to have all the languages, and I think Polish would be a great addition to this. Thank you so much for volunteering. Count me to join in the team, too. I can help by Chinese and German. Thank you for wanting to join our team artrui I will add your name to the list right away. Thank you so much for volunteering! (What kind of Chinese? There's so many diffrent ones) just in case you still need someone who knows russian, here i am Thank you beverlyallit I will add your name to the list. Thank you so much for volunteering! Another Spanish-speaking simmer here! South American accent, so that is handy if anyone needs help with translations. Thank you brainstrip I will add your name to the list. Thank you so much for volunteering! I could help with Swedish as well. Tack för att du ställer upp femmejean I will add your name to the list. Thank you so much for volunteering!
Also, I'd just like to say that If someone says "I speak this" I will ask them properly if they want to volunteer. I wont assume someone will just because they speak a certain language, and I've gotten a few hints about this earlier, so just want to clarify that. Anyways, great job everyone. I'm super excited and so happy that there are so many people on here who wants to help out. And also, I'm super grateful for all the languages we can add to this list, don't matter if only 300 people speak it in the whole wide world or 50 million. If you got it, flaunt it:Titter
I'm currently updating the list with the new suggestions, as well as making it a little bit more prettier. I've tried my best googling and trying to figure out what all the languages are called in their native language, so if I have made any mistakes or if it can be improved, please let me know. And also, I was going to write individual dialects (as it was your suggestion) at first but I've come to realize that if we start doing that this might get kind of messy, so we will just stick to the language itself for now, I hope that's OK.
Have a nice day everyone!
