Hi Kitkat, the Script Call Failed is an issue Studio is having making items that will respond to the design tool in the game. The team hopes to get that fixed for an upcoming version. There currently isn't a way of sorting the list although you can use the search feature if you have an idea of what the item you're looking for is called. That will go through the entire list and only display items having the word(s) you type in the box.
Win7yes, there is most likely a way to turn off the career unlock feature but it hasn't been found yet to the best of my knowledge. Once it's known how to do it Studio will add in a checkbox so creators can decide to keep that feature or not. Changing the model of a recolor is basically object meshes. Studio will have this ability in the future but it doesn't have it yet.
Figured out how to turn the career lock feature off. There is a minitutorial in this forum showing how.

Thank you for the reply - glad to know the script call fail is not something I'm doing wrong Wasn't sure about what I assumed was the search box because before when I typed the full name of the item in there it did not find it. But, when I re-tried just now and typed in just "chalk" it brought up both chalkboards. Glad to know that is indeed a search box because scrolling through every item was tedious, lol. Thanks again for your tutorials and for this wonderful tool!

I need help with recoloring a painting. I am using the exact steps and Paint.net tool. I have managed all the steps and saved the package. However when I play the game the packages/paintings are nowhere to be found, unlike my other custom content. Any help or suggestions?

One you have to unlock in game I mean.. There is a tutorial how to fix that, if that's the problem.

Hi zonbka, if you are getting the llama you probably used the wrong size for your thumbnail image. It needs to be 32 x 32. If that doesn't fix the problem please post again.

It looks like when you imported your thumbnail into Studio that a spot was made for it but the image itself wasn't saved into the spot. This made it so the game went looking for the image, didn't find it, and put the default llama there instead. I was able to import a new 32 x 32 pixel .dds and have it save using 2.1.0.6 so I'm wondering if you're using a version of Studio that's a little older than that. If so, I think updating to 2.1.0.6 should solve the problem. If it doesn't please post again.

So I was trying to recolor the bathroom doors because I noticed that they were the only doors on which I could put, for example, a keep out sign on only one side of the door and leave the other side blank. When I started the game to see how it looked, my game crashed when I went to the doors section of build mode (everything else was running fine, I had no problems before putting the package into my mods folder). I restarted the game a couple times to see if it had just been a coincidence, but it kept happening. I removed the package again and everything was fine.

Hello) It is me again) I found this problem since my first work (about 1.5 months ago) and have not found a way to solve. I use the design tool in the game (fan) on my objects, but it gives the error "script error". The screenshots i will show the situation (my new kitchen wallpaper, cabinet, counter and island counter) This error is typical for all recolor objects in s4s
