Its 9 pm here in Australia as a type. Im working on a set of horns, well 12 sets, I made all the models in 3ds max last night, woke up this morning ready to texture them then.......
No internet for 2 hours due to it being down, could not search for textures.
Our hot water cylinder was getting fixed then so I couldn't really concentrate.
So I thought Ill leave it til this evening.......
Thunder storm, we lost about 3 grand worth of stuff at the start of the year from lightning, we unplug the TV Stereo and both laptops ever since (cant 3d model on battery)
Storm went, started to get ready, power went out, played monopoly by the torch light instead.
Power came back on, had max open, photoshop open, power went off and on again.
Its now back on, I give up for the evening.

That sounds painful and, having lived in a heavily wooded area where the power went out every time a gentle breeze blew, I can completely sympathize. I wish you better luck tomorrow.

Man I'm sorry about all that happening! You haven't had a dull moment! What I really liked about your story was the playing monopoly by torchlight. There must have been some good laughs. It does remind me that sometimes people need powercuts to start talking to each other. I'll share a silly story - my little sister at the age of 12 said to me "I really want you to create a tuenti account!" (tuenti is a social media chat thing for teenagers and twenty somethings in Spain). And I said, "What for?" "So we can talk!" "Sara, we live in the same house. If you want to talk, we can... I don't know, talk? Like in the same room?" She was actually in my bedroom as she said this. *smh* However, hope power is up and running for you today MisterS!! And that you get the mojo back on for creating.

It's strange, but it happens to everyone - well, maybe not everyone...to be and say things a bit different due to that internet space dividing you from Reality...ha! There was a girl...or, who knows, could have been a Guy...back in the AOL Chat Days - anyone remember AOL chat?!? Ha! She used to say the most unbelievable things...."DongZilla".....just really - to me, funny statements about, "Dongs". I miss her, she made me Laugh all the time. "Invented Persona". °30's Room...You will be missed, so will being 30-something..... ;°P

"Invented Persona". °30's Room...You will be missed, so will being 30-something..... ;°P "The Invented Persona"... I didn't need external invented personae, I was introverted and imaginative enough to make 9 different personalities for my teen self. I actually made a grid that horizontally said "Good/Neutral/Evil" and vertically said "Mind/Heart/Body", which originated 9 possibilites (e.g. Good - body would be a very active, physical, sporty person who built homes for the needy; Evil - mind would plan the destruction of mankind, etc), each had a different name, race, personality, nationality, 4 were male, 4 were female and 1 was hermaphrodite. Come to think of it, sounds like the Sims, without a PC. I didn't confuse them with my real self though, I would just write diatribes between them. I do remember AOL chat. Though I used yahoo chatrooms more often in the 90s, early 2000s. And I had a box of 10 diskettes labelled "Internet". Lmao, what great memories. Steven, maybe you already found that girl/dude with a dong obsession. Or maybe you always knew her/him, s/he went undercover to chat to you. Who else makes you laugh? Oh, and are you a Baby Boomer or Gen X then? One of the nicest thing one of my German (Baby Boomer) cousins said to me once was that I belonged to her generation, despite being in the same age group as her kids (Gen X). I guess that the fact I like being considered older than I am is not a common thing, at least among women. There is a saying in Spanish which is that the old devil is wise because he is old, not because he is a devil. Not that all old people are wise!! I end this personal drama with a popular poem to set off some controversy: Women, they have many faults, And men, only two: Everything they say, and everything they do.

believe&become - I would guess that GenX is suitable...hmmmm...48. Never really latched onto Labeling an entire Generation, plus we are all Unique - ;°)
° I Laugh about Everything, not just the, "Dong Girl". You know the person who will say something Awkward, something everyone else is thinking - but not say? That's me. Ha! Not always, but it has caused a few raised eyebrows on occassion. It's that, "Safety Trigger", from Mind to Mouth...doesn't always function...haha!
Women have No Faults. (Repeat throughout Life to avoid those Special Tormenting Moments.)

Yesterday...Train Late; Today, Deja Vu...Hey! Why not rewind Yesterday?.....Ha! You KNOW the Deal. 2 Beers, instead of 1 and the LOOK. ;°P
Look a Person in the Eyes, with the LOOK - Funny how they look away, it's like - "Oh...shi°, this Guy's Day was WORSE than mine.". I am not Famous, I am not Rich - but, regardless - I do not take kindly' to giving MY TIME away, that's all you have with Life - TIME. Wasting it, really PISSES ME OFF.
You get to the 2nd Beer and start thinking..."I could have Modded Jesus Returning, by NOW.". Just Silly stuff runs through the Mental.
One of those Days....Tomorrow, Deja Vu me thinks, again.
;°)

I also use the Look. But without the pre-Beer. My favourite use of the Look was when my boss asked me to stay after I said I was quitting... He WAS a millionare, and nevertheless he asked me to please stop looking at him, that he was terrified. I replied, "Good, you should be." Oh the days of office power play! It was fun, but I'm glad I am not in that world any more, I don't belong there, but I needed to learn how it worked. I hope you have a good night @stevenssimsstuff . And about your statement that "women have no faults". There's a good boy. :D Let me express my views (as a woman). Pleasant shark-free zone dreams! Your friendly neighbourhood shark.

That Diagram is TRULY' DISTURBING....Ha! I will never think of a Vagina in the same manner, as before...you have scarred my Brain!
Will have to use that though, for humor's sake...."Would you like me to Eat your' Shark Brain?".
- It doesn't sound funny, or Lusty'...Ha!

Now that you know, you will never un-see it - you are now Awake! I don't find it disturbing, but I love all animals, including sharks, and am not repelled by their insides either (or ours). Change of subject, is (real) shark sold in Germany to eat? Here some kinds of shark are served regularly but they have a code name so it doesn't sound so.. scary I guess.

So what's the verdict? Was there any shark available?
I don't eat meat any more (bit of a treehugger now) - and only occasionally shellfood or fish. I haven't eaten lots of crazy things, but I did eat ants, rats, paper, flowers, crocodile, ashes, old leather, eggshells, earth. Most of that was when we didn't have much food (contrary to what you might think, that's the flowers and ants, I ate a lot of those for a few days after the coup d'etat), the rest are stuff I tried when other people shared them or dared me to eat it. I can eat anything, even if it's alive, so it's not so much of a yuck factor, but I would probably cry if it involved hurting something. So what have you eaten?

My Appologies, for not writing back sooner....i have been so busy with work - Alzheimers is catching up to me too...ha! Appearently, "Hai" - (Shark), is available in a lot of Asian Soup/s here. No, i have not tried any - still. Something to do with the Preperation of the Shark Meat: Shark MeatThere is actually an Asian place right next door to where I turn in my Time Sheet from work, each week. I am always in a hurry to go buy my', "Afterwork Beer", and get to the Train...They have a little stand downstairs from the Resteraunt too, like a Fast Food Noodle stand. I always see the same Lady working there each week - Say, "Hi", and she ignores you - every week, Funny. Will skip the Beer next time and check it out...."Hai Soup, bitte..." ;°P What have i Eaten? Mostly' Brunettes....ha! Blondes are too Bland, no Flavour...(JK!)

"Chef Anthony Bourdain described kæstan hákarl as "the single worst, most disgusting and terrible tasting thing" he has ever eaten." - It just doesn't READ WELL, to me....Order TO GO...Yes, yes...ha!

@stevenssimsstuff when my German and Filipino family meet up they sometimes have balut with their beer - duck embryos still in the shell with feathers, beak, googly eyes and all, with coconut vinegar and garlic. I usually pass on that, imho human embryos don't look much different, but if caught up in armed conflict again with no food supplies of course I'd eat it. kæstan hákarl - I think I would try it just once. I have a very strong and peculiar sense of smell though, I don't know if I would have to pinch my nose or not. All Germans I've ordered shark for liked it, even when I told them (afterwards) what it was. And if you are a coffee fan, you might have heard of the most expensive and exclusive coffee in the world, also a Filipino delicacy, - kopi luwak. Not sure how available it is in the West and of course not really impressed with the ethical treatment of the animals involved in producing the fragrant piece de resistance. Frohe Ostern, btw! Hope you have some eggs to crack, so you don't have to resort to your own (sorry! really bad sense of humour :P) That reminds me, one of my favourite items from my father's collection of African memorabilia was a carved wooden nutcracker in the shape of a lady - you had to open her legs, put the nut in and shut her legs, and *voilà* your nut is squashed. Ow. I know, I'm quite nuts.
