This may be a dumb question, but sometimes you just don't know. I updated my S4S and am attempting to do the batch fix. When I attempt to Run the batch fix it pops up a window that says "loading". But it just keeps spinning and doesn't go any further. I let it run for nearly 1 1/2 hours, but nothing happened.
Is it supposed to take a long time to load?
I know it takes forever for my game to start because of all the CC, so is it supposed to take about that same amount of time for the batch fix to load?

Hi. You should never run batch fixes on a lot of cc at once, especially the one that deals with lrle format. It is a very heavy file format, so it would be best to kill the program and restart it in small batches. Also, if your game is already struggling to load, i'd advice to not use color slider compatible hairs. Each package weights like 50mb+

Thank you so much for your reply. I had no idea about the sliders being so troublesome.
Can you explain, or point me to an explanation, on how to run smaller batch fixes? (I just followed the directions in the batch fix post.) But I'd definitely like to be able to run smaller batches.

For example, you have a folder with 100 hair packages, you can divide it into 5 folders that have 20 hairs each. Maybe even 2 folders will be enough, you can start with just 2 and see how long will it take for s4s to process 50 hair packages

Thank you. I feel silly that I didn't even think about moving my mods into smaler folders to make them smaller and easier to batch fix. I was so focused on whether or not I could direct the batch fix to specific folders within my Mod folder. geez...thank you again.
