Hi there! I'm new here and write TS4 script mods. I've used the forum read-only in the past but now I need non-technical help. I'd like to contribute a script (or integrate it in the pose player) which lists all installed pose names for all packs (base game with installed expansions OR Mods folder - as this takes a while). Actually I'd like to put the code on Github with a CC license together with a mod but as it contains a lot of andrew 's code I'm not sure how to proceed without violating licenses which are likely not given in forum posts with code, in this case sims4studio.com/post/121791. Main parts of the code to read and parse packages are not mine and digging into the DBPF format and writing it from scratch would take very long. I'd like to avoid it. I assume that this or very similar code was used in the past to get the list with all pose names. I extended the code to dump all CAS items to get their ID (~10 IDs for every item as each color has a unique ID), name and package name to make it easy to use the IDs in configuration files. a) Says, "There is a list of all the EA clips posted in the same download as the Pose Player itself." I didn't see that in my download. I copied one from the list posted above though. Is that all of them available? b) Then, "You can highlight a clip name on the list, copy it, and paste it into the pop up box in the game." a) sims4studio.com/thread/2617/andrews-studio >> "Download a full list of in-game animations HERE." I have no idea how old the list is. It may be complete for the base game, not sure if all recent packages with new animations are included. Anyhow it seems that 30000 animations are missing. And for sure it does not contain the names of the poses within your Mods folder, unless you have no poses installed. b) "Pose by name" opens a dialog and requires a name. There you may want to paste a name as the pose names are long.

Welcome! Great fun here! I must had missed how to do that paste. I can't find any option to paste. What did I mess? In my game, the EVM (extreme violence mod) poses are listed in the pose player as they are in the mods folder. Having the default EA poses listed in there would be great! Thnx for the link to the studio entry with the pose packs. I didn't see that before. I'll be sure to install those. Thnx!  |

![]() I hope you see the "Pose by name" option and can select it which opens a new dialog. There you may paste the name with Ctrl+V. |

I'm having trouble with the pose player. The problem isn't actually with how it's working (it works), but rather it keeps generating hundreds of blank pose packs (with dozens of blank poses each) inside even though I have only about 10 real pose packs in my game. I've redownloaded it and deleted all my poses, but neither helped.  |

Is it just me? i cant see the download link for the pose player on the link provided :( The post only has the download link for the pose list. edit: sorry.. found it at the bottom of the article. just used a different phone browser.. |

where exactly is this "Pose Player" I am not on phone, I am on a pc. This is the 2nd day I have tried to find it. Can someone help me find it? Maybe a screen shot or something?

Hi, I saw your problem and something similar was happening to me, I just managed to solve it; the fact is that you have to find out by yourself which mod-script is screwing the poseplayer. I spent a lot of time searching and realized that in my case it was the UI_Cheats_Extension and UI_Cheats_Extension_Scripts; after removing them from my mods folder, pose player worked correctly. I currently have version 1.68.154.1020 so i can assure you it ain't broke I hope I've helped:D |

I'm new here and haven't downloaded the pose player or used it at all, but I think you can get the download here: sims4studio.com/thread/2617/andrews-studioI got there through the link in the first post in this thread (Under "what you will need", click "The Pose Player Mod"). Once you've clicked that link, if you scroll down towards the end of the first post in THAT thread, there are download buttons there. |

Hi all! First of all, thank you so much to Andrew for the pose player! The game is 1000000x better with it! I'm having a little issue, I know I have a lot of poses but they're not all showing up, just some of them are. Is there a limit to the amount of poses you can use with the pose player? TIA |

I just downloaded it and did everything you asked and it still seems like it's not working, I am copy and pasting the names from the animation file I found, but it still doesn't work
edit; I was highlighting instead od double clicking, and some poses/ animations don't work

Hi there, I've been experiencing this werid glitch where any pose that is a certain height cuts the sims head off and makes them look squished. It's hard to describe but you can see what I mean here. After repairing my game and removing every single mod except the pose pack, and the pose player I still had this issue. I'm not exactly sure where to go to get help with this so I thought maybe someone would have suggestions here? The problem isn't the pose itself since I've had this problem with different creators poses before. The specific poses in my examples are this one and this one. I also saw it with the higher versions of this pose but I don't have a screenshot If anyone could offer advice, I would be really grateful! I can't seem to find anyone else who has had this issue |
