Maybe I can help a bit. If your wall has just one colour or you are using the exact same texture for any recolours then making the bump is easy. Import all three sizes of your texture into photoshop, convert the images to black and white, either by removing colour or using the convert to Black and white option. If I need a lot of detail I will use the convert option as I can almost control how much white will remain, the lighter the details the stronger the effect. I then use the emboss tool and play around with depth, degree of angle and percentage amount until I'm happy with it. Save as a .dds file and its ready for testing. All the bumps I make for walls are the same size as the texture but the spec I have discovered can be 256x256 no matter what the size of the texture. Making the spec for stone walls usually means I will do the above but instead of the emboss tool I will darken the image or cover the image with black but using 'multiply' with the brush tool until the spec is almost black. If you want shine then various shades of grey produce shine. It's all a matter of practice and personal choice and easy to learn, the results are always worth it when it all goes to plan

Thank your very much for your answer, my wall has different color with brick and rock (but the texture is the same so i can recolor the diffuse image and use the same specular and normal/bump map) I success to make the bump/normal map and the specular too with photoshop. This is my method, i think is similar to yours: - Select all brick and stone and fill them with dark grey. Fill the background with neutral grey. - Add an alpha channel and paste your layer image in dark and neutral grey on it. - Use the 3D filter of photoshop named "normal map", choose cube and 10%. - Copy the red channel and paste it on the alpha channel. Copy the green channel and paste it on the channel red and blue. - Lower the transparency to of the image layer 50%. - And save at the good size (256x512, 256x768 or 256x1024) For the specular map (for rock, stone and brick): - Continue on the same file, remove the alpha channel. - Put the transparency of your image layer back to 100%. - Lower the luminosity to -150. - Add a black layer on top of your image layer and lower it transparency to 80%. - Save at the good size.
Hope this can help someone
