Hello~ This is my first time converting something from another game and I've been following a tutorial for it. I did everything as the tutorial stated but unfortunately somewhere down the line, my texture or uvs got messed up and I'm honestly not sure where I went wrong. At some points while still in blender, everything seemed fine, and I definitely lined up my uvs correctly, but the tutorial had some stuff with transferring data between a base game CAS item and the new mesh and I think that's where it went wrong? Hat in blender: Hat in S4S: I've uploaded the .blend file and .package here: simfileshare.net/folder/126852/Edit: Alt download through dropbox here - www.dropbox.com/sh/7l7x61qkxe7qbyp/AAARfk1h85XhI_quIxg4_EZda?dl=0would love some help, and thank you in advance! mauvemornHere's an alt download through dropbox! Let me know if theres any problems with it, and thanks for letting me know about simfileshare! www.dropbox.com/sh/7l7x61qkxe7qbyp/AAARfk1h85XhI_quIxg4_EZda?dl=0I do have the texture for the hat in the correct location on the texture, and I did move the uvs there. I don't think it would be able to show up correctly in blender if I hadn't!

You need to edit the uvs, not only the texture. The textures that are mapped according to ts4 template must be projected the right way only a 3d model. Clone any hat and study what its uv_0 and uv_1 maps look like to understand what i mean.

mauvemorn uv_0 i understand, but uv_1 completely confuses me - I have no idea how to recreate something like this however it appears that's irrelevant because opening up my file today, the uvs were in completely different places than they were yesterday? I'm incredibly confused as uv_0 was aligned correctly then, and uv_1 looked like a horrible case of overlapping uvs and I know I saved several times. I was able to fix the uvs as they both matched each other so realigning them to the texture wasn't an issue, and it appears right in S4S and in game so I'm not going to question it and assume this all was once again a case of blender managing to screw with me OTL I really appreciate you pointing me in the right direction, as while I know a little of 3D modeling, most of it tends to be very confusing for me 'v' thank you!

uv_0 map projects texture on a 3d model, uv_1 is responsible for morphing. Without proper uv_1 the mesh will not adjust to the shape of the head - unfold rig, click on the eye icon next to head_2 to make sure this is the head, not teeth, make it selectable. Add Data transfer modifier to your hat, choose head_2 as source object, set the rest like this, apply in object mode; " -
