ummm... yep as I said, I need to make a mesh / new project... etc, just new and wanted the best tutorial for doing so... tia (to start from scratch, recolor/retexture etc)

To the best of my knowledge there is no start to finish tutorial that shows how to do this. There are tutorials here that show different steps of a project like that, although not all of them.

Hi, thanks orangemittens I guess I should have been more clear, yes, I was after a 'start to finish' best idea of a tutorial for 1: making a hair from scratch 2: edit an adult hair for a child, in a 3D program such as Blender to be at the same height for the child. << more of interest tia

I think one way of going about it, although I haven't done a project like this myself so anyone who has should feel free to correct me, is to get the adult hair mesh you want and appending that to a .blend that has the child hair you want to replace. Then it would be a matter of moving the hair down to the new height and molding it to the child's head.
