Hello, i'm trying to add a new color swatch to an existing EA clothing. Would this be possible, I can't seem to find individual clothing because they seem to all be in one package file.
Thank you

Are you using Sims4Studio for this?
I think maybe the "Add CAS Part Swatch" option in S4Studio adds swatches to existing clothes.
If not, then you can add a new set of CAS swatches with "Create CAS Standalone" (this adds a new item in the catalog separate from the original but dependent on the mesh, probably not what you want, but at least it works). If you want an item that uses a new mesh, you use "Create 3D Mesh".
Whichever option you pick, you can select one of the swatches (click), or a few (Ctrl + click the ones you want), or all belonging swatches (shift + click from first to last swatch)
You can add a lot of swatches to each item, so whichever one you pick won't cause too much clutter in the catalog.
When you've saved the file, there's "add swatch" and "remove swatch" buttons, you can export the texture and worok on it, then import the new one, and then you save it. The "Swatch thumbnail" icons lets you pick colors for the swatches (up to 3 colors). You can also move the swatches around if you want to change the order they appear ingame.

Yes I'd like to add a new color option for an existing clothing, but don't want to create a standalone item. I don't know where EA clothing is stored so I can't just add a swatch

If you have Sims4Studio and have it properly linked up to your game, it finds all the files for you. Just tick the option that fits your project, then click the CAS button, and S4S loads up all the CAS items. From here you can pick an item you want to work with. When you've selected one, click "next". Save the file with a new name, then you can start working with it.
Like I said, I think "Add CAS Part Swatch" is the option you want. I haven't tested it, but it sounds most logical. You don't want a new mesh or a standalone file, and you probably don't want an override (I'm not sure if swatches added to an override actually show up, but if they do, this option could probably work too - but make sure you select all the original swatches or they'd disappear from the item).
