I think Apple released an update for Mac that forced some reorganization of folders. Now all my expansion, game, and stuff packs are in a folder called “The Sims 4 Packs” which resides next to The Sims 4 application instead of inside it (where I think S4S knew to find them). Sims 4 Studio still loads all the base game items, but the pack items just aren’t there.
I’ve tried moving the folder back into the app content folder but that didn’t work and it also confused the actual game. When I tried playing after that it yelled at me that it couldn’t find the packs. Then it made another "The Sims 4 Packs" folder and started trying to re-download them. I've even tried leaving it there and making a copy to go in the app content folder as well as in the Documents -> Electronic Arts -> The Sims 4 folder, but no luck.
I'm not sure what to do to get the DLC items back. Are other Mac users experiencing this? Is this something that needs to be fixed in a S4S update?

i have fixed it! heres how
open finder>go>computer>users>your name>sims 4 packs>select everything except installer
now open new finder window and repeat process but instead of open the packs folder right click on the sims 4 app and select open package contents, then move the folders you selected earlier over
edit: only works for cas and not for build :(

Yes this is happening to me as well. S4S only loads Base Game items but the packs are empty.

Same here. I’m really not impressed with how long they’re taking to roll out an update.

Mac user here as well, also not so patiently waiting for an update to be made. With all the free time I have due to the current situation, I'm just getting into doing recolours, and I have every pack, not being able to do recolours from any pack I want kinda sucks.

I just downloaded the update but I'm still missing the items from Get to Work, Outdoor Retreat, Spa Day, Luxury Party, Perfect Patio, Cool Kitchen, Spooky, and Holiday Celebration.

Pepperoni-Puffin, adamular, and polysims can you try the following: 1. Close S4Studio.app if it is open. 2. Open the Finder and go to Documents/Sims 4 Studio folder. 3. Delete S4Studio_v3.1.sqlite 4. Start S4Studio.app again and let it re-index.

I have the same issue. Though I can see/access the textures and meshes in the packages I have "stored" from those packs pepperoni-puffin mentioned, which I couldn't before this last update.
