Hi All,
I'm trying to create a sculpture that my friend has made IRL into my game. He uses Sketchup to map out his work prior to making, and I was able to have him send me the file as a .OBJ
I found a sculpture from the game that I was able to export from Sims 4 Studio into blender, then delete, and replace with my OBJ file. I scaled and positioned exactly the way I want but can't seem to move forward.
The object looks complex with curves, etc, but it's showing up as it's suppose to with no issues. Since I'm new to all of this, I am having trouble UV Mapping and importing back to Sims 4 Studio.
Any help, guidance, or general direction would be really helpful!
Thanks, Tony

UV mapping takes practice, I have a love hate relationship with uv maps, most of the time I win but I'm still learning new tricks. I was going to explain but found I was waffling so have a look at this vid, it shows how to mark a seam to unwrap objects with curves. It's easy once you get the hang of it. Mapping Curves
