I'm new here. Say I want to make a floor like my own. I have a photo of a very old busy floor. Could that photo of just one tile be made into a sims 4 floor for the game? unsure how to use studio just yet. I will do some research to learn how if someone could just tell me yea that totally possible or no thats not how the S4S works

You could clone a floor and add the picture in there. It needs to be 256 x 256 pixels (512, 1024, etc) and a picture that's ok with being repeated. You'll want to go into build, stand alone recolor and look for floors in the drop down and pick one that you want to replace. I've used some pretty detailed images for recolors, I don't think it would be difficult as long as it's the right size.
You might have to make a blank specular and blank normal and use the diffuse for the image. It's been a while, but I think that's right. Someone can definitely correct me if I'm wrong.
